Background and experience

As a Financial Advisor, I strive to serve my clients by providing both guidance and personal service. The ability to positively impact lives has always been my primary goal. I work with a select group of families and help coordinate all of their financial affairs from planning to asset management.

My process begins with listening. I listen to understand my client's current situation, their past experiences, and their goals for the future. Then I get to work developing financial strategies and solutions I believe are in the best interest of my clients. With their permission we implement those strategies in an independent, objective, unbiased and cost-effective manner. Then, together, we evaluate progress and make adjustments when there are material changes in the markets, changes in tax law*, or changes in their lives.

Away from the office

Away from the office, I spend my free time with my wife, Elizabeth, our daughters, Mackenzie, Madison, and Morgan, and our house full of pets. We attend Keller United Methodist Church where we have served in many roles from worship volunteer to Finance Committee Board. We are big sports fans and enjoy supporting our college teams (Texas Tech for me and Texas A&M for Elizabeth) as well as our local professional teams. I am a lousy, but enthusiastic, outdoors-man who enjoys trying to hunt and fish.

Background and experience

Andrea seeks first to understand her clients’ current situation, concerns, risk tolerance, and their financial priorities. She then uses this information to formulate an investment strategy and begins the development of a comprehensive investment plan. This plan is reviewed on a regular basis and as her clients’ life circumstances change, the appropriate adjustments are made.

Andrea began her career with Morgan Stanley as an intern in college in 2002 and joined the firm full time after graduation. In 2010, she transitioned her practice to Wells Fargo Advisors, which gave her the opportunity to leverage her strengths in research and analysis and build custom portfolios for clients’ unique circumstances. Andrea has been recognized as a Platinum Council Advisor in the following years: 2015, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production from the previous year and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure.

Andrea attended Louisiana State University where she earned a B.S. in Financial Analysis and minored in French and International Studies. While in college, she spent a semester in Belgium, which broadened her perspective of other cultures and inspired her to explore other parts of the world.

Away from the office

Andrea moved to Dallas in 2005 and remains firmly implanted in the community. She currently lives in North Dallas with her husband, Steve, and her daughter, Vivien. Vivien attends Shelton School in Dallas, which is one of the largest schools in the country for children with learning differences. Andrea and Steve are dedicated volunteers at Vivien’s school and are passionate about promoting the love of learning for all children.

Andrea is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast who practices yoga and meditation. She is newly addicted to tennis, and she plays frequently at TBARM Tennis Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading/listening to books of all kinds but specifically historical. She and her family love to travel and have a goal of visiting a new country every year.

I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2011 with a degree in Kinesiology and began my career as a Physical Therapy Tech. In 2014, I joined Wells Fargo as a Private Bank Receptionist and transitioned in 2018 to the Wealth Brokerage Services Team as a Client Associate. There, I developed my investment knowledge and earned my Securities and Insurance licenses, advancing to the role of Registered Client Associate. I now work exclusively with The Perryman & Wright Financial Strategies Group, providing dedicated and knowledgeable support to clients.

When I am not at work, I enjoy running, cooking, reading, crocheting, and spending time with loved ones. I am an active member of Watermark Fort Worth, where I serve as both a Kids Ministry Leader and a Community Group Leader.
