If you believe you might benefit from our consultative approach, let's talk. We look forward to introducing you to the Pinnacle Investment Group approach and learning more about your financial priorities.
Our Commitment to You
As part of our vision, we aim to provide you with industry-leading retirement strategies, which encompass the following.
Our philosophy is grounded in these unshakeable tenets:
History is a useful guide:
While each historical environment has its own unique features, the common denominator among them is the basic human condition, which is constant over time. As such, it’s rarely a “paradigm shift” where it’s “different this time”. In turn, we rely on analysis of past economic, political, and market developments as well as valuation levels, to guide our expectations.
Appropriate diversification:
We believe in an appropriate level of diversification across all steps of the investment process as a means of improving the risk / return profile of clients’ portfolios. This includes diversification across asset classes, sub-asset classes, managers, and tactical investment opportunities.
Value orientation:
Our decisions are grounded by value orientation. Strategic allocations include only those asset classes that are designed to support the risk/return profile of a diversified portfolio. Tactically, we seek opportunities where fear or greed has driven market prices away from our assessment of fundamental value. Our value orientation seeks to identify situations in which a disparity between market price and our assessment of fair value may present potential investment opportunities.
Appropriate horizon:
While human emotion can drive the market away from fair value over the short and intermediate terms, fundamentals can play an important role in market performance over longer periods. As such, we believe an appropriate investment horizon is an important consideration in asset allocation decisions.
Consistency:
A consistent investment process is essential to our framework – consistency in our client focus, in analytical rigor, in value orientation and in diversification.
Asset allocation and diversification are investment methods used to help manage risk. They do not guarantee investment returns or eliminate risk of loss, including in a declining market.

Working with You
The Pinnacle Investment Group of Wells Fargo Advisors utilizes a consultative process to help improve a plan’s efficiency and performance, which typically encompass pricing, transparency, plan design, and investment lineup. We focus on “retirement readiness” for our clients’ employees, along with investment management, plan management, and plan evaluation for the Plan Sponsors. The minimum objective goal is a reduction in fiduciary liability with the ultimate goal of maximizing participant outcomes and ensuring the plan is truly seen as a “benefit” by your employees.
To that end, we employ a number of analytical tools to review investment performance and fees. We strive to reduce a Plan Sponsor’s fiduciary risk by acting as a 3(21) or 3(38) Fiduciary, and we assist our clients in matters associated with issue resolution, while simultaneously overseeing and coordinating provider searches (RFP process).
Since employee participation is essential to the health of the overall plan, we actively engage employees in a number of communication strategies to keep their level of interest high. For example, we hold enrollment meetings and ongoing participant education meetings, and participants have one-on-one access to a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional on our team who can provide a thoughtful consultative experience as it pertains to either their investment, financial planning strategies or administrative plan needs.
