Julian began his career in 2006 with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. As a young advisor, Julian found early success and was among Morgan Stanley’s highest performing next generation advisors. In 2015, Julian left Morgan Stanley to join our late partner, George Nicol, at Wells Fargo Advisors.
Having developed a relationship during their time together at Morgan Stanley, Julian and George hit the ground running and found success in their new team. Their coordinated approach to wealth management augmented their individual abilities and created a sum that was stronger than the parts. In their mission to provide the highest form of personalized financial advice, Julian and George expanded the team and brought on financial advisors Jake Harrison in 2019 and Kevin O’Connor in 2021. Julian’s work at Wells Fargo Advisors has garnered national recognition and from 2017-19 Julian earned the Forbes award for Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors1. In 2023 and 2024 he earned a spot in Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors2 list for California, ranking 61st and 35th respectively.
Julian’s commitment to provide the highest level of service is demonstrated by his dedication to continuing education. In 2020, Julian completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst program through the University of Chicago Booth School. In earning his CIMA designation, Julian enhanced his portfolio management and private wealth advisory skills and became an affiliate member of the Investment and Wealth Institute.
He graduated from the Thacher School in 1999, a boarding school in Ojai, CA. After Thacher, Julian graduated with the honor of distinction from Kenyon College in 2003. He earned a B.A. in comparative religious studies with a focus in Mahayana Buddhism and minored in both philosophy and music. Julian was a 4-year, 2-sport varsity athlete, playing on the soccer and lacrosse teams. He was an accomplished lacrosse player and earned 1st Team All-NCAC honors.
Post college, Julian lived in She Kou, China for nearly three years. In China, he engrossed himself in Chinese culture and its language, formed a jazz band, and studied with Buddhist monks at monasteries in Minobu, Japan and Gaoxiong, Taiwan. Through his experience learning to live in a foreign country, embracing the local culture, and augmenting his undergraduate studies, Julian learned lessons and values that he carries with him today.
Julian was born in San Francisco and grew up in Mill Valley, CA, where his parents still reside. Today, he and his wife Kara live in the Inner Richmond with their sons, Calvin and Jude, and their Sphynx cats, Billie and Simone. Julian is also an avid golfer but like most amateur players, he is waiting for the quality of his game to mirror his passion for the sport.
Community is an essential component of the Quasha family values and giving back is a priority for Julian. Julian serves as the Chair of the Board of the AOD Foundation whose mission is to promote and fund charitable causes across the Bay Area.
