Ricardo G. Rivers, MBA
First Vice President - Investment Officer
As a dedicated financial professional, I am passionate about assisting my clients and helping them reach their personal and financial goals. I create customized investment plans and develop wealth management strategies to help manage investment risk and simplify the overall investment process. My clients enjoy working with me because of my genuine interest in helping them succeed financially.
A Financial Advisor since January 2000, I have managed client assets and guided clients through the volatile and dynamic cycles of the investment markets. My career in Financial Services began as a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney and later I joined Wells Fargo Advisors in September 2007. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, I worked in Corporate Finance as a Sr. Financial Analyst/ Sr. Accountant. My combined work experience and educational background has proven to be an asset in understanding my client's needs and assisting them in reaching their financial goals.*
I am married with twin daughters and enjoy watching sports, traveling, skiing, golfing and helping people grow personally and professionally through involvement in volunteer activities. I am connected with my local community serving as Treasurer for the Manalapan Business Association and as a Trustee for The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools. I enjoy connecting with students and alumni at my alma maters, Franklin & Marshall College and St. John’s University. I also currently serve as a Trustee of Franklin & Marshall College, a member of the Board of Trustees Investment Committee and as a Vice Chair for the Franklin & Marshall Fund Global Steering Committee. Through my previous service as a Mentor to the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation's Business Education & Development Program, I was honored as a recipient of the New York Mentoring Partnership Award. I am also honored to have been the recipient of the 2020 Alumni Development Volunteer Award issued by the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Association Board of Directors as well as the recipient of the Sydney Bridgett ’51 award bestowed upon me by the Franklin & Marshall College African American Alumni Council in 2016.
