Background and experience:
Ricardo is a dedicated financial professional who is passionate in assisting clients and in helping them reach their personal and financial goals. He creates customized investment plans and develops wealth management strategies to help manage investment risk and simplify the overall financial process. This plan is reviewed on a regular basis and as his clients’ life circumstances change, the appropriate adjustments are made. Ricardo’s clients enjoy working with him because of his genuine interest in helping them succeed financially.
Ricardo began his career in Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2000 at Smith Barney and has been with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firm Wachovia Securities since September 2007. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Ricardo worked in Corporate Finance as a Sr. Financial Analyst/ Sr. Accountant. His combined work experience and educational background has proven to be an asset in understanding his client’s needs and assisting them in reaching their financial goals. * Ricardo earned his B.A. in Anthropology and History from Franklin and Marshall College, a B.S. in Accounting from CUNY – Brooklyn College, and his MBA in Finance from St. John’s University.

Away from the office:
A native New Yorker, Ricardo and his wife, Annalai, moved to New Jersey and reside in Manalapan. They have twin daughters, Amelia and Olivia. Spending time with their young family is the top priority for Ricardo and Annalai. Ricardo enjoys watching sports, traveling, skiing, golfing and helping people grow personally and professionally through involvement in volunteer activities. He is connected with his local community by serving as Treasurer for the Manalapan Business Association and as a Trustee for The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools. He also enjoys connecting with students and alumni at his alma maters, Franklin & Marshall College and St. John’s University. Ricardo is a Trustee of Franklin & Marshall College, a member of the Board of Trustees Investment Committee and Vice Chair of the Franklin & Marshall Fund Global Steering Committee.
Through my previous service as a Mentor to the Allan Houston Legacy Foundation's Business Education & Development Program, I was honored as a recipient of the New York Mentoring Partnership Award. I am also honored to have been the recipient of the 2020 Alumni Development Volunteer Award issued by the Franklin & Marshall College Alumni Association Board of Directors as well as the recipient of the Sydney Bridgett ’51 award bestowed upon me by the Franklin & Marshall College African American Alumni Council in 2016.
