Neilrey Ochoa is Senior Vice President-Investments of The San Diego Legacy Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Neilrey focuses on developing investment strategies and solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.  He has more than 21 years of experience in the investment industry.  Neilrey began his career with Morgan Stanley in 2000 earning titles including Vice President, Wealth Advisor, and Insurance Planning Director. 

Neilrey received his BS from the University of California, San Diego.  He has built a strong reputation among his industry peers and was selected to be the President of the San Diego Stock and Bond Association in 2008.  Focused on knowing his clients, Neilrey has a strong commitment to listening and understanding each client’s needs, goals and concerns.

Neilrey lives in Encinitas, CA with his wife Dana, three sons, two dogs and their rabbit.  The family is involved in their church and local community.  In his spare time, Neilrey loves to golf, play softball, run, travel, and camp with his boys through the YMCA Adventure Guides.

James Carpentier-Levy is the Vice President-Investments at The San Diego Legacy Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, James began his career focusing on life insurance and mortgage origination before joining Morgan Stanley in 2008. After successfully managing his own advisory practice for more than a decade, he recognized the increasing complexity of the financial landscape. In 2023, James decided to join The San Diego Legacy Group, and in 2024, he and the team transitioned their practice to Wells Fargo Advisors. This move was driven by a commitment to providing clients with access to a comprehensive suite of wealth management services, sophisticated planning resources, and advanced technology solutions.

James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from Cal State San Bernardino. He holds the prestigious designation of Certified Financial Planner^®. As a CFP^® James developed a consistent process focused on understanding client needs, providing comprehensive strategies in a simple way, and executing those strategies on the clients’ behalf.

James lives in the Allied Gardens neighborhood of San Diego with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys boating, golfing, skiing, jogging, and playing guitar.

Ashley Meachum is a Client Associate at The San Diego Legacy Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. In her role as a Client Associate, Ashley is responsible for all administrative and customer service-related issues for the team. She began her career at Morgan Stanley in 2007 and joined The San Diego Legacy Group soon after. Ashley believes that excellent customer service is key to a growing a successful practice.

Ashley is a native San Diegan, fitness enthusiast and nature lover.  She currently resides in La Mesa, California with her Husband Bill and their sons Liam and Dylan.
