Background and experience

For over 30 years Paul has worked in the financial markets and is firmly rooted in the belief that service and knowledge are his biggest contributions to client satisfaction and financial well-being.  With decades of experience navigating major market shifts, Paul has dedicated his career to delivering personalized investment planning services to his clients.

Paul began his career in 1988 working on a trading desk at a small regional firm in Spokane.  There he developed his in-depth knowledge of market functions and investment fundamentals.  He joined AG Edwards and Sons, Inc., a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2004 in order to provide personalized financial advice for individuals and families.  In 2005, Paul earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and meeting stringent experience requirements.  He is also recognized as a Platinum Council Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors*.

Along with being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Paul has a Finance Degree from Eastern Washington University.

Away from the office

Paul and his wife Ann enjoy traveling locally to visit friends and family as well as visiting their three children in Seattle and Denver. Otherwise, their time is spent on home or cabin projects, boating on Coeur d’Alene Lake and hiking various trails around Spokane.

Background and experience

As a Financial Advisor, Courtney is dedicated to collaborating with clients in order to determine a long-term plan based on their unique goals.  Her main objective is to provide her clients with greater financial confidence by understanding their wants, needs and long-term objectives.

Courtney Altringer joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2017. In 2021 Courtney completed the rigorous education and exam to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Due to her increased production and growth, in March of 2022 she earned the title of Vice President-Investment Officer from Wells Fargo Advisors.

Courtney graduated in 2016 from the University of New Mexico. She majored in General Business Management at the Anderson School of Business.

Away from the office

Courtney enjoys all activities that involve the outdoors. In her free time, she helps Schweitzer Alpine Racing School, and assists at the Bonner County Food Bank weekly. She also serves on the Pacific Northwest Ski Association board to support local ski racers.  This carries over from Courtney's childhood love of skiing when she attended the University of New Mexico to compete on their Division 1 ski team where she became an NCAA All-American athlete. She simply loves being outdoors and going on adventures with her husband Chris and her dogs.

Background and experience

For over two decades Bob has helped clients to achieve their long-term financial goals by focusing on comprehensive planning tailored to each individual’s specific needs and situations. Bob has guided his clients through major market cycles by providing the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

Bob began his career as a Financial Advisor with Piper Jaffray in 1997, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an active member of the Spokane Estate Planning Counsel. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2008 and provides personalized financial advice for individuals, nonprofits and retirement plans. Bob is recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council*. Bob has a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in economics from the University of Washington.

Away from the office

Bob spends his free time with his wife Jan, and children Scot and Isabell. The Simpson family enjoys snow skiing and spending time at their cabin at Hayden Lake. Bob remains active in youth ski racing and is a past Board member of Spokane Ski Racing Association and Pacific Northwest Ski Association. Bob volunteers at the HUB Sports Center in the Spokane Valley and is on their finance committee.

Heather Shea

Background and experience

Over the years working in the financial industry, Heather’s main focus of “serving the client” has always been unwavering. She truly recognizes each client has unique needs that continually change with the passage of time.

While still in high school, Heather held a part time job at Murphey-Favre which later merged into JP Morgan Chase Bank. That job was her spring board to a career that evolved over the next 35 years. She acquired her securities registration and worked at RBC Dain Rauscher, Smith Barney and D.A. Davidson & Co. as a Registered Sales Associate. In 1998 she joined the Spokane firm of Ken Roberts Investment Management and remained there for over 14 years. Initially, Heather was one of two employees managing approximately $50 million. She played a significant role in the growth of those assets to $275 million in less than a six year time period. In 2013, Heather joined Wells Fargo Advisors and her years of experience makes her a valuable member of or the team.

Away from the office

Heather has three grown children.  Aside from family activities, Heather enjoys time with her dog, home projects, and all the amazing outdoor activities available in our Pacific Northwest region.

Lanette Kalblinger

Background and experience

Lanette has been in the financial industry since 2015. She started as a Teller with Wells Fargo Bank in 2015 and worked her way through different positions at the bank including Lead Teller and Personal Banker.  Lanette’s passion is building long lasting relationships with her clients and helping them succeed financially.

After working in the retail side of Wells Fargo Bank and gaining a vast amount of knowledge and skills through her multiple positions, Lanette decided it was time for a new path to continue her career within the financial industry.

She was recruited over to Wells Fargo Advisors in June of 2022. She has worked with multiple Financial Advisors before joining our team. Her knowledge and experience make her a key piece to our team and client’s success.

 

Away from the office

Lanette loves to travel! Any chance she gets to experience a new city, state, or country she is ready to jump on the plane. Her favorite part of traveling is meeting new people, trying new food, and learning things about different cultures. When she’s home, she enjoys relaxing with her pets and her husband Stephen or having fun with her family and friends.
