Background and experience

For over two decades Bob has helped clients to achieve their long-term financial goals by focusing on comprehensive planning tailored to each individual’s specific needs and situations. Bob has guided his clients through major market cycles by providing the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

Bob began his career as a Financial Advisor with Piper Jaffray in 1997, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and an active member of the Spokane Estate Planning Counsel. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2008 and provides personalized financial advice for individuals, nonprofits and retirement plans. Bob is recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council* (2016-2025). Bob has a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in economics from the University of Washington.

Away from the office

Bob spends his free time with his wife Jan, and children Scot and Isabell. The Simpson family enjoys snow skiing and spending time at their cabin at Hayden Lake. Bob remains active in youth ski racing and is a past Board member of Spokane Ski Racing Association and Pacific Northwest Ski Association. Bob volunteers at the HUB Sports Center in the Spokane Valley and is on their finance committee.

Background and experience

Courtney Altringer is a Financial Advisor with a passion for helping career-driven women reclaim their time, confidence, and financial clarity. She understands that life moves fast and managing money can feel overwhelming — but with the right strategy and support, it doesn’t have to be. Courtney partners with her clients to build personalized investment plans that align with their goals and simplify decision-making, so they can focus on what matters most.

Since joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2017, Courtney has built a business centered on trust, growth, and intentional relationships. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in 2021 and, in recognition of her continued success, was promoted to First Vice President – Investment Officer in 2024. That same year, she completed her Master of Science in Financial Planning from Whitworth University, reinforcing her dedication to excellence and lifelong learning.

Courtney is also a graduate of the Whitworth Institute of Leadership, where she serves as class president. She remains actively involved in the program by fostering cross-cohort connection and coordinating ongoing leadership development opportunities.

A former NCAA Division I ski racer, Courtney competed for the University of New Mexico where she earned her degree in Business Administration. She was honored as an NCAA All-American and named MVP of the women’s team in both 2014 and 2016. Her background as a high-level athlete continues to shape her approach — blending discipline, resilience, and adaptability in all areas of life and work.

Away from the office

Outside the office, Courtney serves on the boards of the Pacific Northwest Ski Education Foundation and the Pacific Northwest Ski Division, supporting the next generation of athletes and giving back to the sport that shaped her. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Chris, and their two dogs, and enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors, on the lake in the summer, or on the ski hill in the winter.

Heather Shea

Background and experience

Over the years working in the financial industry, Heather’s main focus of “serving the client” has always been unwavering. She truly recognizes each client has unique needs that continually change with the passage of time.

While still in high school, Heather held a part time job at Murphey-Favre which later merged into JP Morgan Chase Bank. That job was her spring board to a career that evolved over the next 35 years. She acquired her securities registration and worked at RBC Dain Rauscher, Smith Barney and D.A. Davidson & Co. as a Registered Sales Associate. In 1998 she joined the Spokane firm of Ken Roberts Investment Management and remained there for over 14 years. Initially, Heather was one of two employees managing approximately $50 million. She played a significant role in the growth of those assets to $275 million in less than a six year time period. In 2013, Heather joined Wells Fargo Advisors and her years of experience makes her a valuable member of or the team.

Away from the office

Heather has three grown children.  Aside from family activities, Heather enjoys time with her dog, home projects, and all the amazing outdoor activities available in our Pacific Northwest region.

Lanette Kalblinger

Background and experience

Lanette has been in the financial industry since 2015. She started as a Teller with Wells Fargo Bank in 2015 and worked her way through different positions at the bank including Lead Teller and Personal Banker.  Lanette’s passion is building long lasting relationships with her clients and helping them succeed financially.

After working in the retail side of Wells Fargo Bank and gaining a vast amount of knowledge and skills through her multiple positions, Lanette decided it was time for a new path to continue her career within the financial industry.

She was recruited over to Wells Fargo Advisors in June of 2022. She has worked with multiple Financial Advisors before joining our team. Her knowledge and experience make her a key piece to our team and client’s success.

 

Away from the office

Lanette loves to travel! Any chance she gets to experience a new city, state, or country she is ready to jump on the plane. Her favorite part of traveling is meeting new people, trying new food, and learning things about different cultures. When she’s home, she enjoys relaxing with her pets and her husband Stephen or having fun with her family and friends.
