Her team includes tax advisors, estate planning strategists, professional money managers, life insurance experts, and qualified retirement plan administrators. Our team takes great pride in the work we do with our clients, and we appreciate that you trust us to care for your financial needs. We look forward to building on our relationship. We take a team approach to client service. As you know, we are here to assist you, and are committed to serving our clients’ needs.
Melissa was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley by her loving parents, Ralph & Laura Magaña. After graduating with honors from Sharyland High School, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. Before graduating, she spent summers interning with Wachovia Securities, as the understudy to two erudite wealth advisers. They each had a unique operative style and offered a magnitude of knowledge that ignited her interest in the securities and insurance industries. In June of 2007, Wachovia extended an invitation to participate in their Financial Advisor training program, and later that year she earned her Series 7 & 66. In 2009, Wells Fargo Advisors acquired Wachovia and she joined her mother, Laura Magaña, AAMS® as a partner. Laura retired in 2021, but Melissa is grateful for the wealth of knowledge Laura shared over her 35-year carrier. With Melissa’s own industry experience dating back to 2005, it is her ambition to enjoy a long and successful career as Laura did.
