Marcia Simpkins
Managing Director - Investments
Marcia Simpkins joined the predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 1979 after
beginning her career in the Management Development program at Procter & Gamble.
During her over 40 year tenure with the firm and through several mergers she was
promoted to Investment Officer, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and then
Managing Director in 2008.
Her experience in the investment field and her education prepared her to work with
individuals and corporations in building, maintaining and increasing wealth. After
earning an undergraduate degree in English from the College of William and Mary in
Virginia, Mrs. Simpkins continued at William & Mary studying for two Masters degrees
concurrently. In 1977 she was awarded an M.Ed. in Counseling and in 1978 a Masters of Business Administration.
Mrs. Simpkins has been an active volunteer and Board Member of organizations
supporting historic preservation, children, and youth. Outside the office she enjoys travel, reading, gardening, and spending time with her
family.
Crawford Simpkins
Senior Vice President - Investments
Crawford Simpkins is a 2012 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia receiving a B.S. in Economics and Commerce and a minor in Rhetoric. During his career at Hampden-Sydney Crawford served as a member of the Student Court and as a Resident Advisor. He represented Hampden-Sydney at the Association of Private Enterprise Education (APEE) conference in the Bahamas, presenting his research “NationalDefense.com, the Risk of Too Much Internet Security”. Crawford joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2012 as an Operations Clerk in Louisiana. In 2013 he was promoted to Financial Advisor trainee. Later that year he joined the Washington, DC office as a permanent member of Simpkins Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.
In his spare time Crawford devotes his time to meticulously planning his next backcountry ski and SCUBA trips. He finds that by committing to high-risk activities outside of the office, it allows for a more risk averse mindset to investment planning.

Urna Naranbat
Senior Registered Client Associate
Urna Naranbat was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and moved to the United States in 1999 as a teenager. After living in Arlington, Virginia and graduating from Yorktown High School, Urna moved to Maryland to attend Montgomery College to study business and accounting. In 2010 while at Montgomery College she was recruited as an intern for the Washington office of the Wells Fargo Advisors predecessor firm Wachovia Securities to work with the Simpkins Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. After her internship, Urna joined the firm permanently in 2014 as a Client Associate and was later promoted to Registered Client Associate - Officer. Her responsibilities include the preparation of client Portfolio Reviews, managing client communications and both domestic and foreign funds transfers.
Ms. Naranbat currently lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband and their three daughters.
Jackie Gomez
Client Associate
Jackie is a proud DC native and was born and raised in the District of Columbia. She graduated from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2006. She has over twenty years of client service experience including 15 years in the financial industry. After working at Wells Fargo Bank, Jackie joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2021 with the Operations Team as a Brokerage Field Support Assistant. She was excited when she was extended the opportunity to join the Simpkins Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in October 2023.
Outside the office Jackie enjoys spending time with her extremely large & extremely loud extended family, reading all manner of fantasy & science fiction novels, and one day putting her encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture to use as game show champion.
Fred Simpkins, CFP®
Financial Consultant
After majoring in Chemistry at The College of William & Mary, Fred enlisted in the US Army and attended Officer Candidate School. He served four years in The Army Corps of Engineers and returned to the private sector working for Morton Frozen Foods and Brown & Root. In 1976 Fred returned to The College of William & Mary and earned an MBA degree. After working in management for Emery Air Freight and Purolator Courier and consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Fred Joined Wells Fargo Advisors’ predecessor firm in 1998. He earned the Certified Financial Planner ® designation in 2006.
In his spare time Fred enjoys tennis, fly fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.
