Christina Williams is a senior wealth strategist with Wells Fargo Bank's Wealth & Investment Management located in Charlotte, NC. She has more than 21 years of experience in financial services. Christina helps individuals, families, and business owners develop a plan to work towards meeting their financial goals. She helps clients with: business succession planning conversations, advising on and during business transitions, cash flow planning, philanthropic planning, and wealth transfer planning.

Christina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Accounting, both from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Bank, Christina was a tax associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers for two years. Christina holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. While not currently practicing, she also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. 

Christina volunteers as the monthly coordinator for her church’s “Room in the Inn Program” that serves our neighbors experiencing homelessness.   

Christina resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband Brian and her children, Alexandra and Nikolas. She enjoys running, cycling, swimming, and weightlifting, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time at the beach and the mountains in the Carolinas.

Debra Romano is a senior philanthropic trust advisory specialist and senior vice president with Wells Fargo Bank within the Wealth & Investment Management division. She serves South Carolina and Western North Carolina in the Southeast division, as well as Mississippi in the Central division. Wells Fargo Bank’s Trust Philanthropic Services helps charitable individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations work toward their unique goals by providing specialized advisory services.

Ms. Romano works with individuals and families to define and help achieve their charitable objectives as part of their overall wealth plans. This may include gift and tax planning, multi-generational planning, reviewing estate plans, and the creation and management of donor advised funds, private foundations, charitable trusts, and other charitable planning strategies. She also works extensively with nonprofit organizations, where she advises in the areas of gift planning, endowment management, board governance, and other management issues. Debra collaborates with her clients and their other advisors to leverage their resources to help maximize the impact of their philanthropy.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo Bank, Ms. Romano was the Director of Business Development for an independent wealth management firm in Asheville, NC for 3 years, where she specialized in client procurement, client retention, and marketing. She also spent over 16 years working directly in the nonprofit sector. She has been in the financial services industry for more than 12 years.

Ms. Romano earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services in 2018 and has completed 21/64 Certified Advisor training.

Ms. Romano has served on several nonprofit boards throughout NC and SC. She currently serves the South Carolina Planned Giving Council, Charleston Promise Neighborhood, and Stono Ferry Women’s Golf Association.
