Since 2000, Christy Smith has provided personalized, multi-generational wealth management advice with client relationships founded on planning and trust. She has been recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council Advisor in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022.* Christy was also named to the list of Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State in 2023.** As a PIM Portfolio Manager, Christy is among a select group of Advisors at Wells Fargo Advisors who are qualified to manage client portfolios on a discretionary or non-discretionary basis.***
Christy attended both The University of Tennessee – Knoxville and Austin Peay State University with majors in Biology and Agriculture and a Master’s Degree in Biology. She started her advisory practice at Merrill Lynch where she was the President of the Tennessee chapter of both the Women’s Exchange and LEAD, women’s affinity groups for the Bank of America enterprise. Christy moved her advisory practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in November 2015, and in 2019, she became the manager of the Brentwood office for Wells Fargo Advisors.
Christy is an alumnus of the Young Leaders Council and Leadership Nashville. She is a prior commissioner of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. She is an active board member of the Nashville Parks Foundation, The Nature Conservancy – Tennessee, and Franklin Road Academy. She also served on the board of STARS Nashville. Her interests include running half marathons, cycling, traveling, cooking, reading, gardening, boating, and many outdoor activities. She and her family reside in the Belmont 12th South neighborhood.

Margarita Stanczak provides sound financial advice and value-added service to investors – always striving to build long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Using a comprehensive investment process, she helps clients develop and implement strategies for building wealth and realizing their goals.
Margarita began her career as a banker at Wells Fargo Bank in 2014.She transitioned to a Client Associate role in 2019 and then became a Financial Advisor in 2020 with Wells Fargo Advisors. She enjoys helping clients with comprehensive investment planning and creating income strategies for retirement. She earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM (CRPC®) certification by meeting rigorous professional standards and passing an examination from the College for Financial Planning®.
Margarita is an active member of The Junior League of Nashville, serving in leadership as the Chair of the All Booked Up Committee. She is currently a board member for Family and Children’s Service in Nashville. She is an alumnus of the Young Leaders Council.
A resident of Thompson’s Station, Margarita’s time away from the office is usually spent with her husband, Tim, and their son, hiking and traveling together. Avid college football watchers, Margarita and her son are University of Georgia Bulldog fans while her husband follows the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
Financial Advisor

Garrett Smith supports the Financial Advisors of the Smith Financial Strategies Group, helping Advisors serve their clients on a day-to-day basis with diligence and dedication. His responsibilities include operational tasks such as scheduling annual and quarterly client meetings, responding to client inquiries, maintaining and updating client information and organizing client paperwork.
Garrett also helps manage the team’s marketing and communications efforts such as organizing client events and communicating with clients through social media. He also schedules the team’s weekly internal meetings and handles special projects that arise, helping the team gain internal efficiencies and freeing up time for financial advisors to spend with clients.
Garrett is pursuing his degree in Finance at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At the University, he was selected to join the Volunteer Impact Academy, a four-year program designed to enhance personal leadership skills and commitment to community engagement.
In his personal time, Garrett is an all-around sports enthusiast, particularly following the Tennessee Titans and University of Tennessee football teams. He works out regularly and in his free time, can be found playing a pick-up game of basketball or soccer.
