Mark C. Smith serves as a financial advisor & Senior Vice President-Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2021, Mark spent 14 years at UBS, servicing clients of all walks of life. Mark graduated from Fordham University, and immediately began his professional career in politics, where he managed a campaign for Attorney General for the State of New York. He began his career on Wall Street in 2005 at one of the oldest money managers in the US, Lord Abbett & Co. Subsequently in 2006, Mark joined UBS, servicing professional athletes, entertainers, lawyers, doctors, and family offices where he worked as a financial advisor and portfolio manager.

Philanthropically, Mark started the Smith Family Economic Empowerment Zone at the Cardinal Shehan Center in his hometown of Bridgeport, CT.  He was subsequently named Fairfiled County philanthropist of the year in 2022.  Mark serves on the Executive Board of Safe Horizon located in New York City, one of the nations largest victim services organizations.  He is also Board Chair for the Bridgeport Field of Dreams Foundation.

Anthony “Tony” Greier’s mission is to provide clients portfolio management – delivered with the highest level of personal service and professional integrity.  He is dedicated to help clients meet and achieve their financial goals. 

Background and experience

Anthony joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2018, and has over two decades of experience within the financial services industry.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, which the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards awards to individuals who successfully complete the board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.  

Anthony is a graduate of the State University of New York – College at Oneonta, there he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance.  Earlier in his career, Anthony worked as a staff accountant for a large insurance company, before finding his passion for the finance.  In addition to helping clients, Anthony is an active member in his community, residing in Hopewell Junction.

Away from the office

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and children, AJ, Colton, and Gabrielle. They like to stay active both physically and mentally, taking pleasure in various athletics, exploring the Hudson Valley, along with stimulating family game nights. He grew up on a horse ranch in a small town in upstate NY, and often goes back to his roots for a round of golf, fishing, and horseback riding.
