Michael Stern has been with Wells Fargo advisors and their predecessor firms since 1959, originally starting with Bache and Company. In his career, Mike has served as both the branch manager and the syndicate manager for the Vineland office. He has received many awards during his career including being awarded Platinum Council.

2024 - The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production from the previous year and professionalism.

2006 – 2023 – The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Mike and Joan have been married since 1961, and they have three sons; Gary, Jay and Craig. Mike's youngest son, Craig, is a member of the Stern Capital Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. The Stern Capital Group of Wells Fargo Advisors consists of six investment professionals with many years of experience, advising over 1.2 billion dollars in client assets as of 11/17/2025.

Craig has been in the financial service industry for over 20 years. He joined the Stern Capital Group as a Vice President - Investments to help grow and run his family’s practice. As a Financial Advisor, Craig offers a wide range of services, from helping clients select individual investments to developing a retirement plan strategy. With access to a broad array of resources he can help you make informed investment decisions based on your specific needs.

Craig graduated from Lynn University in 1993 majoring in Business Administration. He grew up in Vineland and now resides in Jupiter, Florida. In his free time Craig enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and his three sons.

With 35 years of experience in financial services, I am dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plan strategies around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. My extensive experience – throughout major shifts in the markets – enables me to help my clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals.

I began my financial services career as a financial advisor in 1982. In 1996, I joined Prudential Securities. Prudential Securities was merged into Wachovia Securities, now Wells Fargo Advisors in Marlton, New Jersey. I have earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University. I hold the FINRA Series 5,7,8,15,24,52,63, and 65 securities registrations.

Tracy Steberger joined Stern Capital Group in 2015 and has over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry.  She started with Prudential Securities, which then became Wachovia Securities which then became Wells Fargo Advisors, maintaining her employment throughout and advancing within the same company. 
                   
As Senior Office Coordinator, Tracy is one the first voices that many hear when they call the Stern Capital Group.  Some of her responsibilities include managing client requests, maintaining compliance within the Stern Capital Group and managing the client associate team.  Her attention to detail makes her the perfect point person for our team compliance and administration.  Tracy strives to keep our team organized and efficient, while also ensuring our clients’ satisfaction.

Tracy grew up in Maine but now calls Southern Florida home.  She loves traveling and spending time with friends and family as she is a natural entertainer. Tracy is married with 2 grown children.  She is always looking for her next adventure.

Joe Gaunt joined the Stern Capital Group in 2018, after working as a Commercial Credit Analyst for Newfield National Bank. He holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as his Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses.

 

Joe graduated from Rowan University in 2017, majoring in Finance. He grew up in Vineland where he attended Saint Augustine Prep High School. In his free time Joe enjoys rooting for his favorite Philadelphia sports team and spending time with friends and family.

A native of southern New Jersey, attended Atlantic Cape Community College - with accounting, economics, and business administration credits. Securities registrations include FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 as well as Life Insurance, Health & Accident.  Experience in the financial services industry expands over 40 years.  Has been a member of the Stern Capital Group since 2014.
