Syndy Hood Deese

As the Branch Complex Senior Manager of the Kentucky Complex, Syndy Deese supports the Financial Advisors and Client Associates of Lexington and Louisville branches of Wells Fargo Advisors, helping them meet the needs of their clients and make the most of growth opportunities.

Backed by more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Syndy balances a practical approach to solving problems with a vision for new and better ways to help achieve excellence on behalf of Advisors and their clients.

Syndy’s experience includes working with large producing teams and high net worth clients. She has supported Markets in the Kentucky and Rocky Mountain areas, delivering firm-wide solutions that drive Financial Advisor growth and client success. Through strategic relationships and deep knowledge of company systems, Syndy helps implement and share effective practices, service standards, and risk-aware processes that align with organizational goals. A key strength is Syndy’s ability to collaborate with the firm’s Centers of Excellence to help Advisors deliver access to tailored resources that support both organic business growth and client outcomes.

Her responsibilities include leading initiatives that enhance Advisor development, including regular branch meetings, focus-area sessions, and targeted training. She also manages fiscal policies helping ensure financial discipline and operational efficiency. Syndy is focused on Financial Advisor retention and talent acquisition, including recruiting efforts to bring top talent to Wells Fargo Advisors.

Balancing her professional life with personal interests, Syndy serves as the Vice Chairwoman on the Board of Directors for the Greater Clark Foundation, a health legacy foundation committed to inspiring a thriving Clark County community. She is also Vice Chairwoman on the Board of Directors for the I Was Here Project, a unique public art and history installation founded to tell the history of America’s true past. A resident of Winchester, Kentucky, Syndy enjoys hiking, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
