“I strive to help people enjoy their life. I believe in building long term, consultative relationships with my clients. I believe in creating and managing an investment plan that is tied directly to your life’s goals. I believe in using a well managed and well diversified portfolio to help meet those goals. I believe an effective and attentive financial advisor is there to help guide you along your journey in this challenging and ever changing world.”
Mike has been with Wells Fargo since 1987. He served as a Personal Banker and Branch Manager with Wachovia Bank until beginning his career as a Financial Advisor with Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm to Wells Fargo Advisors, in 1994.
Mike has spent his entire career with our firm here in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Along with his financial services industry experience, Mike has an undergraduate degree in economics and an MBA from Western Carolina University.
Mike is also a Premier Advisor.
Away from the office there is nothing more important to Mike than his family. He spends his free time with his wife Kim and their children and grandchildren. Many weekends throughout the year are spent together at the lake. Through the years, they have discovered that their most enjoyable moments together as a family have been spent gathered around the kitchen table laughing and sharing stories of the day.
Mike enjoys woodworking, landscaping, watching old movies and consuming anything related to U.S. history. He is also a passionate supporter of the mission of Samaritan’s Purse.
