Courtney K. Griffith
With a decade of service behind her and an eye toward the future, Courtney Griffith brings a rare blend of compassion, discipline, and strategic insight to her role as Financial Advisor at Griffith Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Her professional journey began in the public sector, serving her community through the Lake Charles Police Department and Acadian Ambulance. Though emergency services may seem far removed from wealth management, the experience honed her ability to listen deeply, respond with empathy, and perform under pressure—skills that now define her approach to wealth management.
Courtney’s transition to financial services began at Wells Fargo Advisors, where she held progressive roles including Operations Specialist, Financial Advisor, and Divisional Governance Specialist. Each position expanded her operational knowledge and client service expertise, building a strong foundation for the work she does today.
A proud graduate of McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science, Courtney was drawn to the financial services industry both by her passion for helping others and the example set by her mother, a respected Financial Advisor and industry leader. She holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation, equipping her to deliver advice across retirement income planning, estate strategies, insurance solutions, and investment management. Courtney primarily serves individuals, families, retirees, and business owners who value personalized, relationship-driven financial guidance.
Her unique background gives her a powerful advantage: the ability to connect deeply with clients and craft financial strategies that reflect their true priorities. She often says that active listening—really hearing a person’s story—is the foundation for trust and effective planning. Whether navigating major life transitions or planning for a confident retirement, Courtney helps clients uncover what matters most and align their financial lives accordingly.
Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Courtney has called Atlanta, Georgia home for the past three years. Outside the office, she lives life with the same intentionality she brings to her work. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, biking, reading, dog training, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. She reminds clients that financial readiness is only part of the equation—a fulfilling retirement also means having passions and hobbies that bring joy. For Courtney, the most rewarding part of her job is guiding clients toward clarity, confidence, and a life well-lived.
