Focus

C.W. is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor who values each client relationship. He is dedicated to helping people build and maintain a plan that helps them achieve their financial goals and retire successfully. He also works closely with his clients and their families, addressing concerns involving long term care and estate planning.


Background & Experience

C.W. has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and specializes in managing portfolios while minimizing risk for pre-retirees and retirees and creating income plans for their retirement years.

After earning his BA from Colby College in International Relations and Economics, C.W. began working at Merrill Lynch as a Vice President – Investments, Financial Advisor, and then as the Northeast Complex Sales Manager. He takes a comprehensive planning approach to help his clients and their families plan for, prioritize and reach their retirement goals using customized investment strategies that work to build and preserve wealth.

C.W. has been recognized as a Platinum Council Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors each year from 2014 - 2023. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held be a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.


Away from the office

Active in the community, C.W. is involved with The Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, The Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and The Country Club of Troy. He splits his time between Troy, NY and Naples, FL with his two cats, Peggy and Niko. When not working, he enjoys tennis, boating, and golf.

Focus

As a Client Associate, Griffin’s focus is to provide operational assistance to help enhance the overall client experience. He assists clients with questions and any maintenance items needed for their accounts. He also completes service requests, assembles reports and information for client reviews and handles account paperwork.
 

Background & Experience

• Griffin’s educational background includes earning his B.S. degree in Marketing/Management from SUNY Albany.

• Prior to joining the team, he built experience in financial services as an Associate Operations Processor for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Away from the office Griffin enjoys golfing whenever he can with his father or friends, listening to podcasts or researching interesting topics, and exploring new hobbies and interests.
