I began my financial services career in 1994, and have always realized the importance of putting our client’s needs first. 

After working for Merrill Lynch for 13 years and Wells Fargo Advisors for 10 years, we opened The R-B Financial Group, a Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network Office in 2019.  I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and earned my MBA in finance from DePaul University in Chicago. I also hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. 

Being a lifelong resident of the Chicago area, my wife Tara and I live in Elmhurst.  Our three sons, Artie, Hayden and John graduated from York High School after being involved in football and lacrosse.  On most weekends, you can still find me supporting their college teams…Purdue, Indiana Wesleyan and Indiana University in Bloomington.  My wife and I also enjoy spending time outdoors, on the water, in the summer.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, I am dedicated to helping clients reach their financial goals. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, I worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch for 12 years and Wells Fargo Advisor for over 10 years. I hold a degree in accounting from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, and have continued my education by earning the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation from the College for Financial Planning^®. Devoted to helping my community prosper, I am active with coaching youth sports and am a lifelong Chicago-area resident. My wife, Paula, and I live in Glen Ellyn with our sons, Bradley and Lukas, and daughter, Lili.

I have been working in the financial services industry for the past 13 years. It is important to me that our clients feel comfortable and valued when contacting us and that they view me as an advocate if any issues need immediate attention. I have been working with Art and Ric since 2006, first at Merrill Lynch, then transitioning with them to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009.
