Having studied business finance at Colorado State University and spending the first part of his career honing his customer service & management skills in another industry, Larry transitioned to the investment field in the late 1990s. He first worked with Citigroup Global Markets before joining Banc of America Investments in 2003. This is where his evolution into multi-strategy portfolio management inclusive of life/disability insurance, annuities, and long term care began. Complementing each other's strengths, Townsgate Wealth Management now focuses on several areas of investing in in-depth portfolio management, fixed income analysis, and retirement planning. Striving to offer a more personalized level of service, Townsgate Wealth Management decided to join forces with Wells Fargo Advisors in 2012. This allowed Larry to evolve even further as a portfolio strategist in building our managed portfolios. He then became certified as a PIM Portfolio Manager, a designation only achieved by completing rigorous training in the area of portfolio management. This designation is awarded to a select group of financial advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors who have past portfolio management experience in conjunction with the completion of this training. It is a reflection of Larry's commitment to actively offer and manage individually customized investment management strategies to help meet each client's unique needs and goals. In addition to the clients he serves, he is also responsible for the research, due diligence, and
recommendations to our practice's investment committee, of which he is a member. Larry has resided in Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks with his wife, Lisa, and their two kids, Rachel and Jake, since 1999. Playing an active role in his son's sports life, he has assisted with coaching youth through high school baseball, soccer, and basketball. Larry is also passionate about charities benefitting children, specifically the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Children's Hunger Fund. Insurance products are offered through nonbank insurance agency affiliates of Wells Fargo & Company and are underwritten by unaffiliated insurance companies. The Private Investment Management [PIM] program may not be suitable for all investors. Please carefully review the Wells Fargo Advisors advisory disclosure document for a full description of our services. The minimum account size for this program is $50,000.
