Since 1985, Jeff has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience through the many major shifts in markets, it has been his goal to deliver the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.
Jeff began his career as a Financial Advisor with AG Edwards in Traverse City where he also worked as the Assistant Branch Manager. In 2007, Wachovia Securities acquired AG Edwards and then in 2008 Wachovia Securities was acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors. Through the name changes and transitions, Jeff’s focus on doing what’s best for his clients never wavered.
Jeff was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Miami University.
Outside of work, Jeff spends his free time exercising, reading, golfing, biking, skiing and traveling. Jeff is also active in the community as a volunteer with Child and Family Services, The Northwestern Michigan College BBQ and the Boardman River Clean Sweep. He was also a founding member of the Boys and Girls Club and is a former Head Trustee of Christ United Methodist Church.

As a Financial Advisor, Ben works with businesses and individuals to help them develop investment strategies designed to line-up with their financial goals and risk tolerance. Ben is devoted to providing each client with comprehensive advice alongside portfolio strategies, delivered with the highest level of service and professional integrity.
Ben began his career with Wells Fargo Advisors in 2018. In early 2020 Ben earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation (CFP®). The CFP® certification identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board and have successfully completed coursework on financial topics in the following areas: general principles of financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, and retirement and estate planning strategies. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements.
Ben strongly believes a planned financial future is the key to attaining your goals. He is able to truly focus on the goals of each individual by taking the time to build lasting relationships with his clients. No matter what your goals are, Ben works to help you implement a plan to pursue them.
Away From the Office
A Traverse City native, Ben and his wife Courtney reside on the Leelanau Peninsula. They have one daughter Ella. Spending time with their young family is a top priority for Ben and Courtney. Ben is actively involved in the community as a mentor to the Traverse City Central Boys high school tennis team.
