As a Financial Advisor, Ben works with businesses and individuals to help them develop investment strategies designed to line-up with their financial goals and risk tolerance. Ben is devoted to providing each client with comprehensive advice alongside portfolio strategies, delivered with the highest level of service and professional integrity.
Ben began his career with Wells Fargo Advisors in 2018. In early 2020 Ben earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation. The CFP® certification identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board and have successfully completed coursework on financial topics in the following areas: general principles of financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, and retirement and estate planning strategies. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements.
Ben strongly believes a planned financial future is the key to attaining your goals. He is able to truly focus on the goals of each individual by taking the time to build lasting relationships with his clients. No matter what your goals are, Ben works to help you implement a plan to pursue them.
Away From the Office
A Traverse City native, Ben and his wife Courtney reside on the Leelanau Peninsula. They have two children Ella and Liam. Spending time with their young family is a top priority for Ben and Courtney. Ben is actively involved in the community as a mentor to the Traverse City Central Boys high school tennis team.
Mandi Shellenbarger
Senior Registered Client Associate
As a Senior Registered Client Associate, Mandi works closely with the team and their clients to cultivate and enhance new and existing relationships. Some of her key duties include account opening and maintenance, processing trades and money movements, preparing investment plans, coordinating meetings, and client reporting. She has 20 years of experience serving clients in the financial industry and earned her Bachelors in Business Administration, majoring in Business Management from Northwood University. She also holds her FINRA Series 7, 63, & 65 Security registrations, as well as Life Insurance, Accident and Health, and Variable Annuities licenses.
In her free time Mandi loves being outdoors and staying active. She enjoys hikes & hunts with her dog Ripp, paddle boarding, biking, golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
