William McCann, MBA

With over 27 years of experience in financial services, I am dedicated to helping clients meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. My extensive experience, throughout major shifts in the markets, enables me to help my clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals. I began my financial services career in 1997 as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch. In 2001, I was recruited to Smith Barney, where I worked until 2009. I was recruited to Wells Fargo Advisors over 15 years ago. In 2011, I was promoted to First Vice President-Branch Manager of our Falmouth branch. In June 2019, I was selected as the new Branch Manager in Hyannis. And, in April 2020, I was promoted to Senior Vice President-Branch Manager. I have worked with many of my clients for over 25 years, and I look forward to helping them meet their financial goals for many years to come. I earned a bachelor's degree in communications and business from Loyola University in New Orleans, as well as an MBA in Financial Management from the University of New Orleans. I am currently the President of the Bourne-Wareham Kiwanis Club. In April of 2022, I was awarded the "Leader of Leaders" Award by 177 high school Key Clubs at the New England Key Club Convention, as a result of community efforts, unrelated to the business of the firm. I also served on the United Way of Greater Plymouth County Board of Directors for 12 years. Since 2002, I've been the overall Campaign Chair of this United Way 5 times, and I was elected Chair of the Board for 2 years. In April 2017, I was inducted into the United Way Volunteer Hall of Fame.
