I'm so proud of my family. We have three elementary school kids who keep us on the run. When I'm not in the office you'll probably find me outside checking on my fruit trees and berry bushes or testing my soil’s PH levels. I’ve planted over 40 trees on our property and read a lot about afforestation. The phrase that stuck with me is “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today.” I love my compost pile, and I try to always keep gaining practical knowledge about nature and our world.
I coach the kids' football, baseball, softball, and soccer teams, and help instruct a learn to ice skate program. I am currently the President of the Board of Directors at the Sunbury YMCA and serve as Treasurer on the regional YMCA’s Corporate Board as well as Board member and Treasurer for the Lewisburg Little League. I've been an active participant and volunteer in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for more than fifteen years. In the past, I have served on the Board of Directors at the West Shore Chamber of Commerce and also in many leadership roles in the organization. I also participate in the 500 Men Reading initiative, which encourages Harrisburg students to excel in school and develop more interest in literature.
Professionally, I have 20 years experience in the financial services industry. I recently earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RIPC©) designation from The American College of Financial Services and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC©) from the College for Financial Planning.
