    Compensation Arrangements

    There are several different ways financial advisors can charge for their services. A lot of advisors do business by asking to be paid for each transaction they perform for you. However, with this option, every time I recommend a transaction, you might consider the cost of the transaction instead of simply considering how the recommendation will help you reach your goals.

    As an alternative, I avoid this conflict-of-interest by charging an annual fee****, paid quarterly, as a percentage of the assets that I manage for you. This fee covers the cost of both the advice and experience that I provide as well as the costs of administering your account. The benefit for you is there are no transaction costs, so these are never part of the decision to buy or sell a security. I feel that this manner of business puts me on the same side of the table as my clients.
