Before becoming a Managing Director - Investments for the Coleman Dunleavy Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management. He holds life insurance licenses as well as a FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations.  In 2024 he was named one of Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.*

 

Dennis has been advising clients for more than two decades focusing on comprehensive wealth management and helping people understand their retirement options.  “I am committed to helping families and businesses develop strategies to build and preserve wealth.  I am very fortunate to have found something I love to do that has such a meaningful impact on people’s lives.”

 

Dennis has served on the board of directors for Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary and Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. He lives in Charleston, SC with his wife, Kendra.  They have two children: Madison, who lives and works in Nevada, and Mitchell, a student at High Point University.  Beyond the financial world, he is a fishing and hunting enthusiast who immensely enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.

We take great pride in developing an in-depth understanding of our clients’ unique needs, and working with their other personal advisors to create a customized investment plan for each individual client.

My extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets enables me to help our clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial needs.  Much of this experience was achieved working on the NASDAQ Trading Desk for Prudential Securities in Manhattan. I graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Southern Connecticut State University.

My family and I relocated to Charleston in 2001 following sixteen years working in New York City. I live in Mount Pleasant with my wife Maureen and our two English Pointers. We have two adult children, Katherine, a Clemson University graduate, and Brian, a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.  Away from the office, I am an avid tennis player and am active in the local community.

 

Travis Burdette is a Financial Consultant for the Coleman Dunleavy Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Charleston, SC.  Originally from West Virginia, Travis earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Marshall University in 2010.  Travis holds insurance licenses as well as FINRA Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 securities registrations.

 

With 13 years of industry experience, Travis has developed a well-rounded skill set through his work as both an advisor and in operations management.  As a key driver of business development for the practice, he plays a crucial role in optimizing the team’s efficiency and enhancing the client experience.  His diverse background allows him to implement strategic systems and processes that improve workflow, ensuring a seamless and personalized approach to wealth management. 

 

Travis and his wife, Laura, moved to Charleston in 2017.  They quickly fell in love with the active lifestyle that Charleston offers year-round and are frequent beach-goers in the summer.  Travis and Laura live in Mt. Pleasant with their dog, a (giant) Golden Retriever-Great Pyrenees mix named Jack that they rescued in 2019.

Originally from the rolling hills of Roanoke, Virginia, Nicky Kitzerow earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University. Nicky began her career as a Retail Concierge in New York City before transitioning to the financial services industry where she now has 10 years of experience. She is insurance licensed and holds her FINRA Series 6,7, 63, and 65 registrations.

 

As a Financial Consultant for the Coleman Dunleavy Wealth Management Group, Nicky focuses on relationship management, retirement analysis, and educational planning. She is passionate about connecting the emotional and technical aspects of investing by discovering the hopes and aspirations of our clients and their families. Nicky and the team then develop, present, and help implement a financial strategy that aligns with the individual needs and goals of each client.

 

Nicky lives on Johns Island with her husband, Greg and their sons, Gavin (18) and Ryan (7). She volunteers as a Classroom Parent with her children’s school, Charleston Collegiate, and has begun partnering with the Family Services committee at the Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. While her commitments and boys keep her busy, she maintains her love for the arts and is a theater, movie, and music enthusiast. Together with her family, they enjoy skiing out west, relaxing at the beach, and always relish the adventure and education of traveling abroad.

Anne graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.  After spending 10 years with Wells Fargo Advisors between Norfolk, VA and Charlotte, NC, Anne moved to Mount Pleasant in 2018. She joined the Coleman Dunleavy team in early 2019 and holds her FINRA Series 7, and 66 registrations.   

Anne is a key team member when it comes to handling the day-to-day administration of accounts. Often the first point of contact, it’s her priority to proactively identify and resolve operational inquiries and concerns. “I enjoy working in the financial services industry, and in my role as a Senior Registered Client Associate, my goal is to establish and maintain relationships with clients while providing a high level of personal service.”

Originally from Pennsylvania, Anne and her husband David were attracted to the climate and outdoor activities that the Carolina’s have to offer. They live in Mt. Pleasant and together they have one daughter, Julia, who is a CPA in Virginia Beach. In her free time Anne enjoys skiing, swimming, and visiting with family and friends.

Madison Duffy is a proud Charlestonian, born and raised. She is a Registered Client Associate for the Coleman Dunleavy Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Madison graduated from Clemson University with a degree in finance, an emphasis in financial management, and a minor in accounting. This experience played a tremendous part in preparing her for her current role.  She currently holds insurance licenses as well as her FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations.

 

Madison originally interned with the Coleman Dunleavy team during her sophomore year of college in 2019. After graduating from Clemson, she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she started her career in finance at Vanguard in the Advance to Financial Planning Associate Program. After spending a year in Charlotte, she decided to come back home to the Lowcountry where she joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Registered Client Associate in 2023. This year, she found her way back to the same team that made her want to work in this career field in the first place!

 

Madison spends her free time enjoying heated work out classes, playing pickleball, and of course supporting her alma mater at Clemson Football games in the fall.

Alexa Cook is a Brokerage Client Associate with the Coleman Dunleavy Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, where she plays a key role in client service, marketing, and event coordination. With a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston, Alexa blends creativity with attention to detail to enhance the team’s digital presence and deliver exceptional client support.

Before transitioning into financial services, Alexa spent over a decade in the food and beverage industry, working in upscale restaurants and country clubs. This experience sharpened her communication skills and helped her build a strong professional network.

Originally from Washington state, Alexa loves the outdoors. She adores animals, especially her 12-year-old Springer-Spaniel, Noah. In her free time, Alexa will volunteer at the local pet shelter or spend time enjoying her other hobbies including traveling, snowboarding, discovering new music, and exploring Charleston’s vibrant culinary scene with her friends.

Alexa continues to grow within her role, serving as a reliable point of contact for clients and contributing to the team’s success through thoughtful marketing initiatives and seamless administrative support.
