Cinda’s career path is as unique as it is impressive. She began her professional journey in healthcare, working as a pediatric and neonatal intensive care nurse before transitioning to finance. She entered the industry as a soybean broker at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, later excelling as a bond trader. In 1992, she became a financial advisor, spending nearly three decades at RBC before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019. Her diverse background has shaped her approach to investment planning, helping to ensure that each client receives tailored strategies that align with their long-term goals. A strong advocate for financial literacy and empowerment, Cinda specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals and families who have sophisticated financial needs. Cinda is deeply committed to giving back. She has served on the boards of the YWCA, MCAD, and Benilde St. Margaret, reflecting her passion for making a difference in under served communities. An avid skier, fly fisher, and yoga enthusiast, she believes in maintaining balance in all aspects of life—an approach she extends to her investment management philosophy.

As Vice President – Investment Officer, Benjamin (Ben) represents the next generation of financial leadership. With a passion for market strategy and a sharp analytical mind, Ben brings a fresh perspective to Collins Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.

His journey into the financial world was shaped by years of entrepreneurial experience, followed by hands-on training under the mentorship of his mother and business partner, Cinda Collins, Managing Director – Investments. His combination of youthful energy, business acumen, and a client-focused approach makes him a powerful ally for individuals and families seeking to secure their financial future.

Ben earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2014. Before stepping into the financial services industry, Ben played a pivotal role working for a startup food company, helping it grow until it was successfully sold in 2019. This early exposure to business development, strategic planning, and financial management gave him a unique foundation that now influences his work with clients.

Ben specializes in guiding individuals and families through major life transitions, including retirement planning, inheritance management, and investment planning for widows and divorcees. He is passionate about helping first-time investors gain confidence in their financial decisions and takes pride in making complex financial concepts accessible and empowering. His approach is personal, comprehensive and tax-efficient.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ben is an avid traveler, golfer, boater, skier, and fly-fisherman. He and his wife, Mykenna, have made Golden Valley, MN their home, where they enjoy renovating their house and spending time with their dog, Ryder.

Ben’s love for adventure and problem-solving extends to his work, where he takes pride in telling clients, "Take that trip" or "Buy that house"—knowing that sound investment planning has made their dreams a reality.

As a Financial Consultant at Collins Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Katie utilizes her extensive background in tax planning and financial strategy to deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions to individuals, families, and business owners. Katie’s journey into financial services began in 2005 when she joined her father’s tax and accounting practice. Over the years, she honed her skills in tax strategy, eventually taking over and successfully managing the business for nearly a decade before selling it in 2021. This deep-rooted experience gives her a unique perspective, allowing her to guide clients with a holistic approach that integrates tax planning strategies with broader financial goals. Her transition into becoming a Financial Consultant was motivated by a desire to assist clients beyond tax matters, helping them secure their financial future.

Specializing in retirement and tax planning strategies, Katie takes a strategic and measured approach to financial consulting. Katie enjoys spending time with her family in Minnetonka, where she and her husband, Ben, have raised their three daughters and remain actively involved in their lives. Whether watching her kids’ sporting events, tending to her garden, or enjoying weekends at the lake, she values stability and connection—principles she also applies to her role as a Financial Consultant.
