Daniel Welker, CFP®, CIMA®
PIM Portfolio Manager
Dan Welker has worked as a Phoenix, Arizona financial advisor for more than 20 years, joining Eikos Capital Management in 2015. His educational background begins with a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Northern Arizona University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2000. Then in 2001 he received the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of Business. Both of those certifications require rigorous ongoing continuing education on the ever-changing financial planning and investment arena.
Dan takes a holistic approach to investment management by first seeking to discover what is needed from an investment by going through an investment planning process. Then he will establish guideposts to build a portfolio that seeks to get the clients to their goals. In the ongoing review process, Dan takes the time to include attention to detail, good listening skills, and a good deal of empathy for life’s changes.
Dan worked with his father as a financial advisor for 11 years and he takes pride in working with multiple generations of clients as well. He has found that financial goals are often family goals, and working with different generations’ goals allows for consistency as well as customization.
Outside of the office, Dan is married with two daughters and one son. He has served on the boards of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy and the Arizona Psychological Foundation and volunteered for the Hon Kachina Council. Mountain biking, hiking, boating, reading, and family activities are his favorite ways to spend free time.
