Rick Brusky is the senior associate of the Franklin Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. As the portfolio manager, he makes final investment decisions in discretionary accounts. He was born in Green Bay, WI, and graduated cum laude from Marquette University in 1977 before moving to the Palm Desert area and joining Blythe Eastman Dillon. Mr. Brusky joined Wachovia Securities (a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors) as a Senior Vice President – Investments in August 2002 after spending almost 10 years with Prudential Securities and over 12 years with Kemper Securities and its predecessor firm, Bateman Eichler, Hill Richards.
Mr. Brusky is responsible for analyzing the capital equipment, chemical, construction, energy, transportation, telecommunications, and utilities industries, as well as some service company stocks for the group. He also directs the research for the group. Mr. Brusky enjoys tennis, scuba diving and snow skiing. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1989 and is a member of the Salt Lake City Society of Financial Analysts.
