Ted is Managing Director – Investments and PIM Portfolio Manager with the Campbell Frederickson Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. For over two decades, he has had the privilege of helping his clients address their financial goals and concerns by developing customized, in-depth strategies around their specific circumstances. He also assists families and private business owners with detailed, multi-generational planning.
Ted takes an active role in facilitating family discussions around family governance while educating and preparing the next generation as future stewards. He is passionate about the success of his clients in both their working years and into retirement. Ted strives to be a dedicated consultant for all his clients’ financial matters.
Ted is the founder of our group that has been recognized by Forbes as one of the Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams* for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Ted has also been named a Five Star Wealth Manager** (2012-2024). As a PIM Portfolio Manager, he is among a select group of the firm’s Financial Advisors entrusted to manage client portfolios with discretionary authority in the Private Investment Management program.

Ted attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics as an Evan Scholar. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 registrations. He also holds CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certifications for his clients’ advanced planning needs.
Ted and his wife, Darcy, have two children and two dogs and reside in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Outside of the office, he enjoys being active in his church and his kids’ school and sports activities. He enjoys time spent outdoors fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling in the northern Wisconsin and Minnesota region.
