With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Sylvia Guinan is passionate about helping clients take control of their financial futures. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), Sylvia specializes in guiding individuals—especially women—through major life transitions such as divorce, designed to provide holistic, informed advice that fosters clarity and confidence during challenging times.

Her planning-driven approach covers Wealth and Investment Management, Retirement Income Planning, Insurance and Asset Protection, Legacy Planning, and Philanthropy Strategies. By collaborating with CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals, Sylvia helps ensure every aspect of her clients’ financial lives is seamlessly integrated.

At the heart of her practice are the three Cs: Clarity, Confidence, and Control. Acting as a personal “CFO,” Sylvia helps clients understand the true costs of divorce while creating realistic, optimistic plans for the future. Her mission is to provide stability, education, and guidance so families can thrive—no matter the challenges they face.

Sylvia began her career in 1999 at Smith Barney and joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009, where she shifted her focus to comprehensive wealth planning. She holds both an undergraduate degree and an MBA from St. John’s University.

Outside of work, Sylvia enjoys yoga, walking, and hiking. She splits her time between Connecticut and California and is the proud mother of three children.
