Ken began his career in the financial services industry in 1997.  During his 28-year career, 20 of those have been with Wells Fargo Bank.  After an 8-year stint with Merrill Lynch in Knoxville, Ken moved back to Wells Fargo Advisors to form what is now Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.   As of January 8th, 2025, Heartland Financial Consulting Group manages over $1 Billion in trusted client assets.  Ken has also held a number of leadership roles during his tenure, with the most recent being the Branch Manager covering the Knoxville, Morristown and Johnson City markets.  As a true client advocate, Ken focuses his efforts on serving and providing holistic solutions for multi-generational wealth families.

 

Active in the community, Ken has served and/or been involved with many local philanthropic boards.  Currently, Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors actively supports East TN Children’s Hospital, PJ Parkinson’s Foundation, Autism and Boys and Girls Club to name a few.

Ken has been named to the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council for 6 years - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 as a Platinum Council Manager. This distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism.  Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure. The Platinum Council Manager (previously Premier Manager) distinction is held by a select group of Managers at Wells Fargo Advisors and reflects a superior level of professional achievement and a steadfast commitment to achieving business objectives.

 Ken and his wife, Lucy, live in Knoxville, TN.  They enjoy spending their free time with friends and family; both on the golf course and the lake.

Scott began his career in the financial services industry in 1987.  During his career he left the financial services industry for 10 years when he and his wife bought, ran and sold PeachState Automotive, a Goodyear automotive services facility. Scott and his wife Lisa spent 27 years in Atlanta but relocated back to Tennessee in 2013.  In October of 2016 Scott joined Wells Fargo Advisors which lead to him being a founding member of Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.  Heartland Financial Consulting Group currently manages over $1 Billion, as of 1-8-2025, in trusted client assets.  As a true Financial Advisor, Scott utilizes his experience and training in serving and providing holistic solutions for families and business owners.

Scott has a passion for wine and enjoys sharing his knowledge through wine tasting and sharing with friends.  He also enjoys collecting and tinkering with vintage watches.  Scott and his wife Lisa live in the Rocky Hill neighborhood in Knoxville.  They enjoy cards, hosting dinners and spending time with friends.  They are proud parents of two grown children and are doting Grandparents to a grandson, along with two children and three additional grandchildren they lovingly consider part of their family.

Charlie brings a strong background in client service and relationship management to Heartland Financial Consulting Group. He joined the team in 2024, combining his passion for helping others with a commitment to delivering tailored investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. As part of Heartland Financial Consulting Group, which manages over $1 billion in trusted client assets as of March 2025, Charlie is dedicated to providing personalized financial guidance that aligns with his clients’ long-term goals.

With a deep appreciation for community engagement, Charlie is actively involved in fundraising for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and serves in the fpKids program at Faith Promise Church. Additionally, Heartland Financial Consulting Group proudly supports organizations such as the Knoxville Museum of Art, PJ Parkinson’s Foundation, Autism awareness initiatives, and the Boys & Girls Club.

Outside of work, Charlie enjoys cooking, hosting gatherings, and competing in culinary challenges—he is the proud holder of the annual Wells Fargo Advisors Chili Cookoff trophy. A devoted husband to his wife Laurie and father to their two daughters, Alice and Audrey, Charlie also finds time to enjoy golf and fishing.

Having worked as an investment professional for 26 years, I highly value the relationships
that evolve as we work together to meet your goals and objectives. With broad experience
in portfolio management, retirement, and estate planning strategies, I enjoy working with
business owners and individuals to help achieve asset growth, income generation, manage
risk, and in a tax efficient manner.
I am a graduate of Cumberland College with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Prior to my
work as a Financial Advisor, I have 20 years’ experience as a successful business owner
which has given me valuable insight to provide client advice.
My wife and I live in Oliver Springs and have 2 grown daughters.

Duane started his career in the banking industry in 1977. In his 40 plus years of financial experience, he gained extensive experience in helping clients obtain access to lending and banking products, and assisted in investment guidance and estate planning strategies to help his clients reach their financial goals.
Duane was born in Sioux City, Iowa and traveled with his military family in which he resided in several states including Alaska, New York and Washington, DC. He moved to Johnson City, Tennessee in 1974. Duane attended Tri-Cities State Tech, East Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the School of Banking at Vanderbilt University 1987. Duane held various positions such as Branch Manager, Retail and Commercial Lending Officer and then became a Sr. Vice–President, Private Wealth Advisor in the Trust and Investment Divisions of SunTrust Bank in 1992. He then went on to Regions Bank in 2009, in which he held the position of Sr. Vice-President, Private Wealth Manager while advising clients on investments and estate planning. In October of 2012, Duane joined Wells Fargo Advisors in Johnson City. His vast previous experience has helped him develop good relationships with clients and has given him a broad spectrum of the financial products available to better serve his clients.

Away from the office
Duane spends his free time with his wife, Tammy, who works for East Tennessee State University. He has two sons who graduated from East Tennessee State University, and both currently serve as majors in the U.S. military. Brandon is stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky and Tyler is stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Duane enjoys playing golf, gardening, fishing and is a member of Boones Creek Christian Church in Gray, Tennessee.

Daniel Waters' background as a long-term care specialist in the insurance industry prior to
joining Wells Fargo Advisors helps him understand the particular needs and concerns
facing retirees and their families. 
After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with his Bachelor of
Science in Mathematics, Daniel taught high school math in Knox County for 9 years. He
coached girls' basketball for AAU summer teams and at Farragut high school and also
coached a debate team and math team. Daniel is a native of Maryville and lives in Knoxville,
and he has been a financial consultant for over 17 years.

Paula Moseley

Senior Registered Client Associate

 Paula began her financial services career with First Tennessee Bank in 1995.  Her work has always been driven by the goal of helping people succeed financially.  She believes in a consultative approach to investment management, retirement, and estate planning, empowering clients to make educated and responsible choices regarding their financial goals. 

Paula moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1980 and considers it home.  She grew up riding horses, which taught her many positive life lessons; discipline, respect, problem solving and of course living in the moment.  Paula is a graduate of Farragut High School and the University of Tennessee, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She lives with her husband, John Moseley, in Knoxville and are members of Fellowship Church.   She has a love for animals and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching the Braves, and traveling.

LeAnn Williams

Senior Registered Client Associate

 

     LeAnn Williams is a Senior Registered Client Associate, Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors working with Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. LeAnn began her career in banking at SunTrust Bank in January of 2000 in various positions. In May of 2007, she accepted a position working with SunTrust Investment Services serving as a Senior Investment Associate where she obtained her FINRA Series 7, Series 66 securities registrations and Life and Health insurance license. In May of 2018, LeAnn was offered the opportunity to join Wells Fargo Advisors as a Registered Client Associate and she knew the move was right for her. She brings 12 years of knowledge to the team and takes great pride in making sure her client’s needs comes first and values client relationships. 


She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee but now resides in Walland, TN with her husband of 24 years, Travis and their 2 daughters, Emily and Taylor and 1 Grandson. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling and reading.

Cheryl focuses on providing superior client service and administrative support. She always has a caring
and welcoming attitude. She was with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage 10 years before joining our team in
2019.
Cheryl lives in Lenoir City with her husband Wendell, where she loves spending time with her family,
which include her five children, and five grandchildren. She also enjoys hiking, goint to the lake, and
traveling. Cheryl also loves to volunteer at her church.
