Nathan aims to position clients to accomplish their financial goals by using a planning-based approach to identify objectives and building custom portfolios designed to deliver results. He started his career in 2000 and has experience in portfolio management and retirement plan consulting to go along with advising high net worth clients. Nathan coaches his children’s sports teams, plays golf, canyon ball and is a member of a bowling league. He is involved at Covenant Presbyterian Church, young life, and he also serves as consultant for Reformed University Fellowship. He earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University. Nathan resides in Vestavia Hills with his wife, Kristen, and their three kids, Caroline, Woodson, and Clayton.
Drew serves affluent families with wealth management and legacy planning to work to ensure the results of their values, passions, and work ethic pass through to multiple generations. He began working with clients as a wealth advisor in 1995. Drew is a member of the Samford University Board of Trustees. He and his wife reside in Vestavia Hills with their daughter and son. For rest and relaxation, Drew likes to golf and spend time at the beach with his family.
Heath assists individuals nearing retirement by identifying the purpose of their wealth and developing a long-term investment plan designed to help achieve their goals.
Having assisted individuals with their wealth management needs for nearly 20 years, Heath focuses on helping clients understand the purpose of their wealth and designing investment plans to help achieve their financial goals. Heath has achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation which helped provide him with the knowledge and tools to understand how to develop specific strategies to work to minimize taxes, protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. Passionate about the investment business, Heath became a financial advisor after graduating with a B.S. in Finance and Business Administration from Auburn University.
Clients can expect Heath to build long-term relationships that encourage open and frequent communication and to become their essential finance advisor. He uses a transparent approach to investing that begins by listening to determine the purpose of his clients’ wealth. Attaching the client’s purpose to the investment process enables Heath to identify what matters now to the client and makes his recommendations more meaningful. By understanding the “why” before moving to the “how,” Heath’s purpose-driven investment process can help clients avoid the behavior trap. He coaches his clients to be patient, disciplined and not distracted by market noise, which he believes in turn creates the opportunity for positive outcomes.
As a proud Auburn University Alumni, Heath is involved with several alumni organizations, such as the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club and the You Might Be 4 Auburn Foundation. He also serves as an Elder at the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Heath’s first priority is his family. Although he enjoys playing golf and all things Auburn, he is more often found spending his free time with his wife, Kelly, and their children, Collins, John Burke, and Turner.
Jamie guides clients through a wealth management process that is designed to help clients create an investment plan. He is on the Board of Visitors of the University Alabama Business School and is an active member of their mentorship program. Jamie and his family enjoy exploring the world through travel. He enjoys taking advantage of outdoor activities year-round, such as hunting, fishing, snow sports, water sports, and golf. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
Jim has more than 30 years of experience advising affluent individuals and business owners. In addition, Jim has achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation, and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation, all of which help him create investment and retirement planning strategies for individuals. Both Jim’s experience and extensive knowledge enable him to help clients focus on what’s important to them and develop a thoughtful, comprehensive plan to address all aspects of a clients’ financial life.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management.
Next to his faith, Jim’s first priority is his family, which includes his wife, Jennifer, and their three children. As a family they enjoy spending time together traveling and at the lake. Jim is a past Board Member of BigTim Ministries and has served through his church as a small group leader, greeter, and campus support team member.
Steve’s planning process is client-centric, utilizing a planning-based approach to help his clients understand their budget, tax, educational, estate, insurance, and any other financial needs. In addition, he and his team work with businesses to develop a comprehensive retirement plan strategy to meet the needs of the company and its valuable employees.
Steve serves as Deacon at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Board of Trustees for Alabama Institute for the Deaf & Blind Foundation, past president of the Hoover Athletic Association and past president of the Spain Park Gridiron Club. In his free time, Steve enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and two children. He earned his B.S. in Finance at Auburn University.
Haley is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Marketing. She has been with the team since 2014. Haley works as a client concierge and facilitates everyday tasks including transferring assets, setting up new accounts, and most of the team’s operational processes. In her spare time, she enjoys hosting game night, trying new recipes, and spending time with family.
Melissa focuses on the analysis and implementation of retirement income planning, education funding, and estate planning strategies. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as licenses for life, accident, health insurance and variable annuities. Melissa hold a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham Southern College. She and her husband live in Birmingham with their two children. When she is not at the office, she enjoys watching her kids play sports and has always had a love for the ballet.
Cassie’s career in the financial industry began in 2004, with the Private Banking department of National Bank of Commerce in Birmingham. Cassie transitioned to the UBS Financial Services team, a position she maintained for 10 years prior to assuming her new role in 2020 with Iron City Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors. Cassie eagerly assists clients with products and services related to each client’s financial needs. Cassie holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations. Cassie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She resides in Trussville, AL, with her husband, Dave, and their two children, Campbell and Riggs. Cassie is very project-driven and passionate about community involvement. She enjoys coaching her daughter’s cheerleading squad and watching her son play baseball. When she is not in the office, Cassie centers her free time around her family. She can often be found vacationing on the beaches of Florida’s Gulf Coast or with her kids at Disney World.
