I’m Not Omniscient,

But I’m the Next Best Thing

I'm Not Omniscient,

But I’m the Next Best Thing

I’m a realist.

I don’t proclaim to know everything about investing.  But what I do know, I know a great deal about — because I’ve lived it myself.

Above All, I Believe I Excel In Actively Managing Portfolios

I hold the Senior PIM® Portfolio Manager certification.  Not every financial advisor can say the same.

  • More precise asset allocations based on your goals
  • Hands-on management
  • Extreme due diligence and asset screening
  • No favoritism.  Every client gets the same trade at the same time.
  • Generally lower expense fees

  • Establish a proven history of portfolio management
  • Pass multiple exams
  • Defend my investing style and research methods

Function beats form in my world.  Call me old school, but I like telling my clients what they own and why.  Portfolios here usually consist of:

  • Common stocks
  • Common bonds
  • Investment-grade bonds
  • Commodities or real assets
  • A healthy dose of common sense
While you will share many of the same assets as other clients, your portfolio will be based on your aspirational goals and some objective math.

Emotional investing can cause more damage than the angriest bear market.  I avoid constant buying and selling unless certain indicators tell me otherwise.

My tactical decisions are based on:

  • Where we are in the economic cycle and where I think we're headed
  • Which securities are best positioned to align with our firm's capital market assumptions
  • What your goals are and how to implement your plan to meet your objectives

Why Do I Invest This Way?

Because I believe it works.  And based on my team’s 96% retention rate, our clients do, too.
