Meet Our Team

Keith began his career as a Financial Advisor with Shearson Lehman Brothers in LaSalle, IL – where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. He joined A. G. Edwards and Sons (a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors) in 1991 to take a team approach in providing personalized investment advice for individuals and families.
In 1998, Keith earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and meeting the stringent experience requirements. In January of 2023, Kinsey Wealth Management joined SC3F Wealth Management Group, where Keith is a Senior Partner.
Keith has always had a desire to serve the greater good. He enjoyed two terms as President of the St. John Lutheran Church Council. He has been a member of the Peoria Downtown Kiwanis since 1994 and is a Past-President of the organization. Additionally, due to his father’s 8-year battle with the disease, Keith served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
In response to a heroic stranger coming to the aid of Keith’s wife during a random attack in 2007, Keith and his wife Karen, founded the Karing Angel Award. This award recognizes people who put themselves in harm’s way to help a stranger at risk.
Away from the office, Keith spends his free time with his family. He and his high-school sweetheart, Karen, grew up outside of Chicago, and married in 1979. In 1985, they relocated to central Illinois and enjoy living on the lake Keith’s family visited regularly in his youth. There, they have had the pleasure of raising their two daughters: Kristen, a partner at Kinsey Wealth Management of SC3F Wealth Management Group; and Kimberly, a speech language pathologist in Bloomington, IL. Kim relocated back home to the lake after living in Brooklyn, NY through Graduate School, and the beginning of her career. Now Lake Wildwood is home to the entire family once again.
Keith enjoyed coaching the girls’ basketball teams when they were younger, and rarely missed any of their sporting or academic events. Today, he thoroughly enjoys spending time with grandsons, Oliver and Tobbe, and considers it a great blessing to have them growing up just down the street.
As a family, the Kinseys are very active. They enjoy boating, watersports and traveling. They have covered much of the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. Thanks to a client’s recommendation, they have also enjoyed many cruises together. Whether visiting historical sites and museums, horseback riding on the beach or zip lining through the jungle, they truly enjoy the time they spend together.

Brandon was born and raised in Emden, IL, a small-town farming community, with a population of 500 and a high-school graduating class of 17. While small town living played a role in Brandon’s development, the real influence was his family. Brandon’s grandparents, Jerry and Vicki, were esteemed members of the community. Jerry and Vicki’s relationship was rooted in their faith, their love for one another, and their focus on God. They faced many challenges in their life, but they relied on their faith and love for one another to work through life’s challenges and blessings. The adoration for Jerry and Vicki were not due to wealth or status, it was their welcoming demeanor, their ability to listen, and their compassion for others. Jerry and Vicki played a fundamental role in Brandon’s life.
Brandon’s path to finding his purpose began early in life. His first job was helping on the family farm. Brandon farmed with his grandfather, father, and brother. This role included helping with planting, harvesting, tillage, hauling grain to town, cleaning out bins, and mowing road ditches. He helped on the farm from Jr. High through college. He also worked as a bagger/cashier at Kroger grocery and served tables at Steak n’ Shake all before heading off to college.
Brandon attended college at Illinois State University. He was accepted at ISU to major in Computer Science. Along the way, he took several courses and ultimately found he enjoyed something much different from the study of computers, he enjoyed the study of society, human social behavior, and social interactions. He graduated with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice.
Right out of college, Brandon spent three years as a correctional officer. At that point, he went back to Illinois State for a post-baccalaureate program, completing pre-requisites needed to enter Medical School.
From there, making another change in his path, Brandon went on to attain his Illinois Life and Health insurance license, Series 7 and Series 66 registration. He took a position as a Financial Advisor for Regions Bank where he covered 5 branch locations in Central Illinois. While he thoroughly enjoyed what he was doing, there was just one thing missing. Brandon longed to be part of a team that felt like family. He happened to find just that when he joined Kinsey Wealth Management in 2019, a group that shared those values he was raised with; a welcoming demeanor, an ability to listen, rooted in faith, and compassion for others.
In January of 2023, Kinsey Wealth Management joined SC3F Wealth Management Group.
Brandon and his wife, Joli, enjoy traveling, attending concerts and spending time with family.
