When Kristen was in 7th grade she told her dad she wanted to follow his footsteps and become a Financial Advisor. She set this goal early on and began creating a path to get her there. Throughout high school and college she focused her academic path on joining Kinsey Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. While at Butler, it became even clearer the career path she had chosen back in 7th grade was still the right path for her. Kristen fell in love with the idea of helping people and truly getting to know them as individuals and understand their motivations and purpose in life.
While attending Butler University, she interned with UBS Financial Services as a Financial Planning Intern. During her senior year at Butler, she was given the opportunity to join OurHealth, LLC, a high growth startup company with a unique and innovative business concept. At OurHealth, she was able to work on the Finance team alongside the Executive Vice President of Finance to understand the ins and outs of running a small business from the financial aspect. She also had the opportunity to work with Kinsey Wealth Management Group during the summer months. Inspired by her internship opportunities, Kristen started and runs the internship program with Kinsey Wealth Management Group. She truly enjoys working alongside students while they learn the business world. Kristen graduated from Butler University with a degree in Business with focus in finance, as well as marketing.
In 2018, Kristen earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements.
Kristen currently serves as the Sage of the Kiwanis Club of Peoria and is very involved with the Club’s snack pack program. She helps lead the group to pack 200 bags of food each week and bring them to a local grade school so the students have food for weekends and holidays.
Kristen also helps with various youth events for St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca, where she grew up going with her family. During the summers, she dedicates time to organizing the Church’s Vacation Bible School- serving over 80 children of all ages from the small community.
In August 2014, Kristen married Christopher, whom she calls her best friend Kristen’s whole life she has had a love for water and the lake. It was actually lifeguarding in college which led her to meet Chris. Kristen and Chris were given the opportunity to purchase their dream home on the lake where Kristen grew up. In September of 2020, they welcomed their first son, Oliver.
They now spend a majority of their time chasing around a toddler and a puppy. During the summer, you will most likely find them with family and friends out on the boat, wakeboarding and enjoying time together. The Gordons enjoy traveling and visiting family all over the country. Kristen and Chris also have a passion for exploring Europe and the South Pacific. They cannot wait to bring Oliver along on their next adventure! Kristen and Chris feel truly blessed for what life has brought them thus far and are very excited for what the future holds for their growing family.
Brandon is from the small, agricultural community of Emden, IL. While many people are not too familiar with the rural town of 500 residents, it happens to be a focal point of his growth and development; a place of important decisions, influential people and monumental experiences.
He grew up not only in a farming community, but in a farming family. His grandfather, Jerry, taught him many valuable life-lessons as he grew up on their farm. Jerry was an incredible man, a man that was not only ethical, but extremely personable. Jerry was well-respected for many reasons, but his passion to help others is what set him apart. This particular trait of Jerry was rather influential in Brandon’s life. Jerry passed away in 2006, but his impact on Brandon is everlasting. Just like his grandfather, he is passionate about people.
As the years flew by, he was posed with a challenge common to most people in life; “what’s my purpose?” In hopes of figuring that out, he took off for Illinois State University to pursue his passion and procure a degree in Sociology; now he had more than passion for people, he had understanding.
Throughout the years, he has applied his passion and understanding for people in a multitude of ways, serving in the criminal justice field, management field, and ending up in the place he was meant to be, helping to guide others through life’s challenges and blessings. Brandon comes to Kinsey Wealth Management Group with experience in the field, as he previously held the position of Financial Advisor with Regions Bank.
Some of his hobbies include fishing, cooking, cycling, traveling, and attending concerts; smooth jazz happens to be his favorite. He is recently engaged to his fiancé, Joli, whom is a full-time English and History Professor at Lincoln College; they are currently planning their wedding, as they are set to tie the knot this year.

Christina acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois at Springfield in May 2004. She is Six Sigma DMEDI trained and DMAIC Certified.
Away from the office, Christina enjoys spending time with her friends. Christina often heads back to her home town of Toluca, IL to enjoy time with family. She has been known to pick up her three nieces and nephew for the weekend and spend time making memories with them. Each year, Christina and her sister relax by going to Florida for a week of fun and relaxation.
Christina is here to provide the highest level of service and attention. She will assist with any transactions or questions you may have.
