David Engel is the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®* professional for The Logan Square Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. His primary responsibility is the management of client financial plans and Envision® plans. David creates and customizes insurance and legacy planning for the group’s clients, and is in charge of due diligence on Alternative Investments.

David has a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Philosophy from Colgate University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master of Arts in Ancient Greek and PhD in Ancient Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley.

David lives in West Philadelphia with his wife, a psychiatrist, and their daughters. David’s interests outside of work include the literature of ancient Greece and Rome, gourmet food, New World wines, obscure rock music and long distance solo bicycle touring.

Tom Penrose runs discretionary accounts for clients in the Private Investment Management program at The Logan Square Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He takes lead responsibility in the group for trading client accounts. His 16 years of experience through major market bubbles and busts enable him to help his clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific needs.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Tom put himself through Penn State on the G.I. Bill. Tom lives in New Jersey with his wife, Lori, and four children. He enjoys travel, NFL football, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing with his kids.

Tamara brings more than a decade of client service experience to The Logan Square Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Getting her start as a receptionist in 1999, she quickly transitioned to client services, where she found her niche. Tamara enjoys the personal touches and daily interactions with our clientele.
