Our goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of others through service, leadership and financial education.

Mitch served on the board of the Villanova Club of Charlotte from 2014-2020 where he was an active member of the scholarship golf committee, led the annual family and community building event, and volunteered as part of the Villanova Day of Service. As his children were growing up, he coached flag football, t-ball, baseball and softball for over 15 years in local recreational leagues. In addition, he was instrumental in creating a middle school league to keep 10-13 year old girls playing hoops. As a marathon runner, he has also helped to promote the love of running by being a top sponsor for the Run for the Ridge 5K and Fun Run, a fundraiser and community event benefitting our local high school.

Heather has served as Vice President of Philanthropy for the Carolina Women’s Club focusing on making a positive impact on the lives of women and children in need in the greater Charlotte area. Some of her key contributions for CWC have included implementing a weekly one-on-one pilot reading program for Title I students through Read Charlotte. Additionally, she was part of the team that created a Zen Den for the residents at Florence Crittenton, a non-profit organization that provides maternal, family care and life skills services for girls and women who have experienced trauma.

Heather has also served on the Board of the Charlotte Business Alliance promoting business growth and development in the Ballantyne Area and was President of Marvin Ridge High School PTSO. She has been a key contributor to the Living Your Strengths community at St. Matthew Catholic Church since 2016 as both a regular facilitator and strengths coach and has been part of the mentoring program at her alma mater, Villanova School of Business since it began in 2014. In this role she helps undergraduate business students articulate their unique value propositions and showcase their talents to secure internships and full-time positions post-graduation.

In addition to the educational workshops they offer to clients, Heather and Mitch help young investors do things now that will set them up for future success. They also provide education, tools and resources to mid-career and retiring professionals to help them navigate the myriad of financial decisions they face. In 2019 they launched the Investing with Confidence workshop series helping over 650 women build their confidence in investing.
