Background and Experience


Jamie was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney on a golf scholarship. After transferring to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he graduated cum laude with a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance & Economics. He achieved the “student of the year” honor in 2000. After college, he played as a touring golf professional for five years on the NGA/Hooters Tour, Moonlight and Buy.Com Tours. He then managed four different multimillion dollar hospitality businesses that provided high quality service to clients for six years. Most recently, Jamie attained a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Management and Leadership Development from Jacksonville University. He was honored with the “Most Outstanding Student” award in the Executive Master of Business Administration department in 2018. Jamie joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2010 and began his career helping clients manage their wealth confidently. With an emphasis on continuing education and his passion for providing the best possible solutions for his clients, Jamie earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner designation. Jamie was named as one of the 2022 Wells Fargo Advisors “Platinum Council Advisor”. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.

Away from the office

Jamie is an active member of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. Positions he has held are President of the South Council, South Council Board Member, Health Council Board Member and All Councils Leadership Team President. He’s been a member of the Board of Governors, Education and Workforce Committee, JAXUSA Economic Development Committee, Public Policy Committee, and Trustees in the Jax Chamber.  For his involvement in the Saint John’s County Chamber of Commerce, he was awarded the Pat Morgan Outstanding Member Award in 2012 and graduated with the Saint John’s County Leadership class of 2015. In 2014, Jamie founded JAX Trailblazers, Inc., a networking group that promotes the services of its members to small and mid-size businesses, where he currently holds the title of President.  Over the years, Jamie has devoted much of his time to local organizations and charities such as: First Tee, Junior Achievement, The Community Foundation, CHILD Cancer Fund, North Florida Land Trust, and Teach for America. In 2012, he was awarded the Volunteer Service Award by Wells Fargo. Currently Jamie is a member of the JAX Chamber, Financial Planning Association, and the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida.

Background and Experience


As a founding member of Ponte Vedra Wealth Management and Managing Director of Wells Fargo Advisors, Stephen Foody brings 38 years of capital markets experience to the team. Stephen started on Wall St. in 1984. He has worked for Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Dresdner Bank (ABD securities.) Stephen’s practice is founded on delivering advisory services to his clients on actively managed customized solutions executed within a personalized context. Financial planning, estate planning and tax efficiency, as well as in legacy of future generations, are hallmarks of PVWM’s approach. Steve holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Fordham University. He received his CFP designation in 2002. He was chairman of the board of trustees for the Guardian Catholic School, founding member of Ponte Vedra High School PTO, Booster Club and Jacksonville Royals National Travel Baseball Club. He was also a board member of Ponte Vedra Athletic Association and Ponte Vedra Men’s golf association.

Away from the office

Stephen enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He also enjoys all outdoor sports including, hiking, skiing, surfing and golf.

Background and Experience


Evonne T. Heykens, PCG Sr. Registered Client Associate with Wells Fargo Advisors in Ponte Vedra FL. I started within the financial industry in 1982, most of my career has been in Jacksonville or Ponte Vedra, FL.  I started working with Steve Foody in 1998 and became a permanent member of his team in 2004.

I was raised and still live in Jacksonville, FL with my husband, Steve.  We have five adult children; five grandchildren and I love being a Gramma!   We have a close relationship with our family, and we love traveling with friends to the Florida Keys and the mountains of North Georgia.

Background and Experience

As a Client Associate, Matthew’s goal is to work together with our team to make our clients’ financial goals a reality. In 2019, he brought his enthusiasm for this career to Wells Fargo Advisors and joined the firm as an associate in 2021. Matthew’s experience includes working closely with clients, outside vendors, and multiple years of corporate travel and on-site support. His extensive background includes financial services, operations, Secondary English education, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University.

Away from the office

Having lived in Florida since 2016. Matthew has been very intentional about learning the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra communities. He shares his passion for community by working with local non-profits and organizations to bring education access/opportunity to students in underserved schools. In his free time, Matthew can be found at the beach with his friends, traveling the world, or in the kitchen trying a new recipe.
