Credentials & Accolades


CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNNERTM (CFP®)

Cynthia and Jim have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, or CFP® professional certification. To earn the CFP® Cynthia and Jim completed hundreds of hours of rigorous courses and examinations offered by various colleges and universities across the country. These courses are then followed by a 10-hour comprehensive examination administered according to the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

 

Private Investment Management (PIM)1

Jim is a PIM portfolio manager. The PIM program is a customized portfolio management program geared toward meeting clients’ specific investment goals. Jim has met stringent criteria based on experience and expertise acts as your personal portfolio manager. The criteria for entry into the PIM program are more stringent than most other programs Wells Fargo Advisors offers. Less than 10 percent of the firm’s financial advisors have met the criteria to act as PIM Portfolio Managers.

 

Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council2

Marshall, Cindy and Jim have all been named to the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council. Marshall and Cindy earned the distinction of being a Platinum Council Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors for 2020 and 2021. James earned the distinction of being a Platinum Council Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors for 2020, 2021 and 2022. The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held be a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.

 

Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSIC®)

Jim is a Chartered SRI Counselor. The Chartered SRI Counselor designation is focused on responsible investing. Having earned this designation, Jim helps clients invest in sustainable, responsible, and impact investments (SRI). SRI is an investment discipline that considers environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria to generate long-term competitive financial returns and positive societal impact. The Chartered SRI Counselor is issued by the College for Financial Planning.

 

Five Star Wealth Manager Award3

Marshall, Cynthia and Jim have been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 among Westchester area wealth managers as published with ad appearing in the Wall Street Journal.
