During the income-earning years, we help clients define their overall financial goals and build a financially stable foundation for the future. We help address all areas of concern including managing cash flow and liabilities; organizing savings and investments to align with life goals; minimizing potential income taxes; making decisions regarding life insurance, estate planning strategies and helping to build future wealth.

Planning for and living in retirement

The team works with pre-retirees and retirees to plan for and manage their retirement income. Strategies may include a combination of retirement income distribution approaches, such as coordinating portfolios with timing of when to start Social Security, bridging health insurance costs until Medicare begins, income tax planning strategies, and for clients who have accumulated more than they need for retirement, estate planning strategies to provide a legacy for their heirs are considered.

Family wealth

For many families, there will be enough wealth to pass from one generation to the next. The Rankowitz Cilwik Financial Group’s multi-generational team helps families prepare for and successfully transition both wealth and family values. By developing strong relationships, the team offers individualized advice to each generation and provides estate planning strategies to help minimize potential tax and legal consequences which could occur from unprepared wealth transitions.
