We pride ourselves in advising our clients using disciplines which date back to 1957 when G. Thomas Tranter Sr. began working as a financial advisor.  William T Reilly, Managing Director-Investments joined Tom in Elmira, New York back in 1996 when the firm was called First Albany Corporation.  Bill's career with First Albany began in 1992 in the corporate home office in Albany, New York.  Our team chemistry was complete with the addition of Jill M. Boyce, Senior Vice President -Investment Officer, in 1998.  After almost ten wonderful years together, Tom retired in 2005 at the age of 75. Bill and Jill are proud to say they have been offering solutions to their clients' needs, together for the past 25 years. 

The opportunity we have to continue advising the relationships which presently, in some cases, date back over 67 years speaks volumes of the trust and confidence our clients bestow upon us.  Trust and confidence is the foundation on which our practice is built.  We take great pride in having the opportunity to advise our clients which presently extend to the second, third and even a couple fourth generations.
