CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Vice President
If you are retired or nearing retirement, I’d like to offer you a complimentary process to evaluate if we are compatible and to see if we can genuinely add value to your financial situation.
Step 1 - Initial Phone Discussion:
We'll begin with a phone call to gain insight into your financial situation while ensuring that our knowledge aligns with your specific needs.
Step 2 – First Office Meeting:
During this meeting, I’d like to learn about your financial situation, your retirement goals, and the concerns that you may have.
Step 3 - Our Analysis:
In between our meetings, I'll leverage my formal training, experience, and knowledge - along with the insights from my colleagues - to address your questions, such as:
· Can I comfortably retire?
· What would my retirement income look like?
· How can I make my retirement plan more tax-efficient?
· How do we plan for the unexpected?
I'll summarize this analysis for you in an easy-to-understand written recommendation.
Step 4 - Second Office Meeting:
During this meeting, I will clearly explain the combination of strategies you should consider to help achieve your retirement goals. I will also explain how we get paid. At the end of this meeting, I will inquire whether you'd like to move forward and work with my team or if you would prefer to have some additional time.
Step 5 – Reflection, and a Couple of Questions to Consider:
Here's a couple of questions you may wish to consider:
· Do the recommendations make sense to me?
· Do I like, trust, and respect both the team and Bob DeWitt?
· Do I agree with their planning philosophy and how they collaborate with clients?
· Does the value they provide significantly exceed the fee that I'll pay?
Step 6 – Paperwork:
In this meeting, I'll answer any questions you may have and, if you are ready, guide you
through the paperwork to become our client.
