Sarah is a senior wealth strategist with Wells Fargo Bank within Wealth & Investment Management supporting the Northeast Division. Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in financial services working with clients to help develop customized wealth plans and recommend solutions based on a thorough understanding of their personal values, asset growth and wealth transfer goals, and vision for their legacy.
Sarah advises high net worth individuals, corporate executives and business owners. Sarah has also lent support to our internal publications as a subject matter expert on various planning topics, and is a regular presenter on education calls to her colleagues.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Haverford College. She holds CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation.
In her free time, Sarah loves to travel and is an avid participant in a hand bell choir. She lives in Somers, NY with her husband and two teenage children.
Tim Rahr is a lead strategist with Business Owner Advisory within Wells Fargo’s Advice and Planning. Tim advises business owners with ownership transition alternatives and strategies by offering education, industry and market insights, and planning guidance regarding business transition, succession, and governance. Business Owner Advisory provides advice that integrates business value, financial and wealth implications, owner and family dynamics, personal objectives, and tax considerations to aid clients in evaluating their transition options.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Tim was a partner in a national chief financial officer services firm that provided business transition and corporate finance services to closely-held companies. Prior to his consulting role, he served as chief financial officer, then as president at a family-owned media company. During his sixteen year tenure, he was instrumental in structuring ownership transition to next-generation family members. Earlier in his career, Tim held a series of sales and operations management positions at Associates First Capital, and was a partner in a residential construction and development company.
Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, and completed executive education coursework at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Tim has been awarded the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation.
Tim and his wife Sarah live in New Haven, CT. When not advising owners of closely-held businesses, Tim enjoys cooking, gardening, and playing golf.

David S. Sherline, Managing Director – Investments is a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager. His in-depth training allows him to manage client portfolios in a discretionary manner, guided closely by technical and fundamental analysis including incorporating the research recommendations and collective insights of Wells Fargo Securities and external research firms. Each portfolio follows an investment plan customized to the client's needs, their cash flow and liquidity needs, and tax situation.
