Gray aims to deliver financial best practices to save you time and money and improve your financial position. Gray’s curiosity and attention to detail aim to help identify hidden opportunities and avoid financial blind spots for clients.

Continual education is important to Gray. He earned the title of Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) and the Certified Investment Management Analyst ® (CIMA®) certification. He is an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) professional certified through the College of Financial Planning. These credentials require rigorous examinations, and ongoing education to retain.

Gray strives to better financial outcomes by examining current behaviors and tendencies and re-aligning them around what is important to you. He has completed the training for Applied Behavioral Finance certification offered by the Investments and Wealth Institute.

Gray earned his B.S.B.A. degree in Finance from Shippensburg University of PA. Gray became a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in Frederick, Maryland. He also spent eight years at BB&T Investment Services, Inc. before moving to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2010.

Living in Matthews, NC with his wife Jen, and their four homeschooled children, Gray enjoys community involvement through men’s ministry and youth discipleship. Gray is focused on environmental sustainability and renewable resources through the ownership and management of timber forests throughout the Carolinas. For recreation, he enjoys hiking, camping and riding ATVs.

Hunter is a Financial Consultant for Wells Fargo Advisors. He is dedicated to meticulous construction and maintenance of the investment plan which aligns with your investment objectives. In this regard, Hunter is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charter holder. This means he has spent many hours studying and testing his knowledge on investment tools, asset valuation, portfolio management and wealth planning. Additionally, Hunter assists with the daily operations and coordination between multiple departments across Wells Fargo Advisors to ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible

Hunter played baseball at Lenoir-Rhyne University for two years before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned his degree in Accounting. Hunter is a native and current resident of Charlotte, NC. Hunter and his wife, Lashay, have two young sons, Colten and Weston. When he is not working, Hunter enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and playing golf. He is also an active member of his church.

As a Registered Client Associate, MJ loves getting to know our clients and providing a best-in-class customer experience.   She enjoys finding thoughtful ways to help make your financial life easier. This includes handling the full spectrum of client operational and service needs, notably online assistance, processing transactions, and answering any questions you might have about investment accounts. MJ brings a sense of helpfulness and insight to the team that contributes to the high quality service our team seeks to provide.

After receiving her degree at Boston College, MJ worked in Private Wealth at a large, nationally ranked wealth management team at Merrill Lynch in Atlanta. She relocated to Charlotte to be closer to family before joining Wells Fargo Advisors. She currently holds her Series 7 and Series 63 registrations, and has over 15 years in the Financial Services industry. Outside of the office, MJ likes spending time outdoors and with her family.  She enjoys playing mediocre tennis and pickleball, and loves to check out new restaurants and shops around town.

As one of the Private Wealth Financial Advisors on the team, Dan advises clients in the context of a thoughtful plan. He starts by listening. Then, he guides clients through a detailed planning process.

Dan believes that details matter. That is why he supervises plan development to ensure thoroughness and accuracy. He is also responsible for running team operations to provide excellent service.

Dan is always learning. He obtained the CFP® designation early in his career. This equipped him with an in-depth planning process. He then added the CRPC® (Chaptered Retirement Planning Counselor™) certification. This rounded out his retirement planning acumen. Next, Dan earned a CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst™) designation. This program focused on portfolio design and risk management. Most recently, Dan earned the CPWA® (Certified Private Wealth Advisor) designation through the Yale School of Management in partnership with the Investments and Wealth Institute. The CPWA® program covers the life-cycles of wealth (Accumulation, Preservation, and Distribution) and complex strategies for those with significant net-worth.

Dan earned a degree in Business Administration from Miami University of Ohio. He began working at Paine Webber in 1996 before moving to Wells Fargo Advisors in 1998.

Dan lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Lisa, and daughters, Emily and Nicole. Dan enjoys outdoor adventure sports including hiking, skiing, rafting, kayaking, and mountain biking. He is also a member of his church.

Eddie is a Private Wealth Financial Consultant for Wells Fargo Advisors. Attention to detail   and analytical thinking are Eddie’s hallmarks. On most days, you’ll find him constructing investment plans and implementing strategies designed to support your comprehensive long-term plan. Eddie holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designation and most recently, he received the Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC®) designation. In his previous roles with Wells Fargo Advisors, Eddie served clients as an Investment Resource Consultant and a Trader. This experience serves him today as he coordinates services across departments and areas of specialization within our firm.

Eddie is a Charlotte native and currently resides in the NoDa area in Charlotte. Eddie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While there, he earned a degree in Political Science and a double minor in History and Aerospace Studies. Eddie is an avid fan of UNC basketball and Arsenal FC. He serves as Vice President of the Queen City Gooners, a registered supporters club of Arsenal FC in Charlotte. When he’s not watching either of his teams play, you can probably find Eddie riding his mountain bike at the US National Whitewater Center or playing with his dog, Gimli.

As a Senior Registered Client Associate, Jay takes pride in helping deliver first-class customer service by managing the daily operations and maintaining communication with each team member to ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. Jay’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his passion, integrity, and profound financial acumen, which he brings to every client interaction.   

Prior to earning his business administration degree from California Coast University, Jay served in the Navy as an Operations Specialist (OS). In this role, he worked in the tactical nerve center on the USS John C. Stennis, a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, where he played a vital role in coordinating and executing mission success and the safety of personnel. During his seven-month deployment to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, Jay was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, an honor that exemplifies true leadership and exceptional completion of duties. These experiences instilled in him a deep appreciation for honesty and open communication, values that continue to guide his professional approach.

Eric is a Client Associate for Wells Fargo Advisors. With over 25 years in the financial services industry, he will be our in-house portfolio expert. His business philosophy is to always do what is best for the client-- everything else takes care of itself. He is committed to seeing your plan succeed through good markets and bad by providing clear expectations and communication, proactive updates, and thoughtful risk assessment. A testament to this is that he has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. This means that Eric has diligently studied and tested his knowledge on investment tools, asset valuation, portfolio management, and wealth planning.

Eric is one of the few Charlotte natives! He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his degree in Economics, and met his wife, Mary. They have two sons together, Hunter and Carter. Both of which followed their dad’s path into the investment world! 

When he is not working, Eric enjoys spending time with his friends and family, going on walks with his wife, and playing golf. He is also an active member of his church, where he has led a study group for over 20 years now.

Brooke Hoffman works as a Marketing Client Associate, dedicated to helping deliver the highest quality service to our clientele. You can typically find her working on client communications and organizing events that ensure your customer experience is the best it can be. With an emphasis on clear communication, attention to detail, and empathy, Brooke's desire is that every person who comes in contact with our business come away with a great experience.

After receiving her Associate's degree in Business Administration, Brooke attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Analytics & Intelligence, with a minor in Mass Media Communication. Throughout her academic career, Brooke remained President of an on-campus organization in her spare time. From this, she learned the ins and outs of time management, dedication, and attentive communication.

Brooke is a Charlotte native, a movie buff, an avid concert-lover, and a music fan. On the weekends, you can find her hanging out with her friends or family, hiking, or reading a good book. She is also an active member of her church.

Genessis currently works as a Client Associate for our team. Genessis will be assisting with all areas of client support to make your experience as seamless as possible. She loves getting to know clients and providing them with excellent, comprehensive service. Genessis brings financial acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Her journey in the financial industry spans over 16 years, where she has honed her skills in various roles, from Personal Banker to Branch Manager and, most recently, as a Vice President, Branch Manager at one of the nation’s largest firms. Throughout her banking career, she’s worked hard to be an outstanding performer, consistently creating a positive impact on both clients and team members. She developed a zeal for wealth management, which led to her joining our team in March of 2024.

Complementing her banking expertise, she acquired a Project Management Certification with a focus on Agile methodologies from Louisiana State University. She also holds an MS in I.O. Psychology from Touro College and a BA in Psychology from Queens College. Outside of the office, Genessis enjoys community engagement, spending time with family and exploring diverse experiences -- whether it's discovering a new local eatery, traveling, or diving into the pages of a captivating book.
