Each of the team members at The Burke Rynkar Puglia Group has a special set of letters behind their names – these are certifications that we earned of our own volition in order to keep our training fresh and continue to advance our education in our field.

Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor

Given by:

  • College for Financial Planning

Requirements:

  • Self-study program
  • Completion of final online exam
  • 16 hours of continuing education every two years

Walk Away With:

  • Specialized skills for helping individuals plan their “road map to retirement”: focus on pre- and post-retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning strategies

Certified Investment Management Analyst®

Given by:

  • Investments & Wealth Institute

Requirements:

  • In-class program through qualifying university
  • Qualification/certification exams
  • 40 hours of continuing education every two years

Walk Away With:

  • Technical and advanced portfolio construction training

Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠

Given by:

  • College for Financial Planning

Requirements:

  • Self-study program
  • Completion of final online exam
  • 16 hours of continuing education every two years

Walk Away With:

  • Advanced training in topics such as asset management, policy and change, risk and return, investment performance, asset allocation and selection, investment strategies, and taxation of investment products

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional

Given by:

  • Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards

Requirements:

  • Hundreds of hours of coursework
  • 10-hour comprehensive exam
  • 30 hours of continuing education every two years
  • Prerequisite of three years of experience in financial planning

Walk Away With:

  • Specialized knowledge in retirement planning, estate planning strategies, income taxation, principles of investments, planning for insurance needs, and more
