    A lifelong Oklahoma City Resident, Mason graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business, as well as Oklahoma City University’s Financial Planning Program as prescribed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

    Since 1992, he has had the privilege to serve as a Financial Advisor to families, institutions, non-profits, religious organizations, businesses and retirement plans. As a Financial Advisor with The Meritage Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Mason enjoys working with the talents of a team with over 120 years of combined experience, as well as the resources of Wells Fargo Advisors, to help his clients achieve what is most important to them. His mission is to help his clients build, manage and transition wealth. Mason is a Managing Director – Investments, is a PIM Portfolio Manager, and has been recognized by Wells Fargo Advisors as a Platinum Council from 2013-2023.

    Staying active in our community is important to Mason. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City class XXIV, a past board member of the Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Association, a member and past president of the West Oklahoma City Rotary club, a founding member of the Mustang Public Schools Foundation, and has served as trustee and board member on various boards and foundations for many years. He was also honored to be chosen as the Wings of Rotary team leader where he led a group of high school students on a two week ambassadorial trip to Japan. It was truly a trip of a lifetime! 

    In his spare time, you will find Mason enjoying the outdoors with his family and friends. He enjoys riding his mountain bike, hunting, fishing, and spending time at the lake.

      How I got here….

      I spent my early years in South Texas, but most of my growing up happened in Shawnee, OK. After graduating from University of Oklahoma in 1983, with a degree in Business Management, I started my career in the financial services industry. I have been blessed to have represented several respected companies such as Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, and in 2011, along with a team of advisors, I joined Wells Fargo Advisors. Our practice is named The Meritage Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, and I am proud to be the founding member of this group.

      Away from work, my life consists of my wife Stacye, children Matt, Luke and Allie and grandson, P.J.  Stacye and I are full time drivers and audiences to our kids sporting events, recitals, concerts and music “gigs”.  When we find time to relax, we enjoy annual family vacations to the beach, and occasionally find ourselves in wine country or the mountains. Sundays, you will find our family at New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond and together for family dinners afterwards.

       

      Favorite part of my work….

      As a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager, constructing investment portfolios for our clients and actively managing those portfolios is truly a passion of mine after almost 35 years in the industry. While managing money for others can be stressful at times, it gives me great joy to see our clients realizing their goals of secure retirement, paying for college and passing estates to people they love.  Working side by side many clients for two to three decades and beyond, gives me rewarding, lifelong relationships with people that I could never have within most other careers. Attending their children’s graduations and weddings and coming to know their grandchildren is a special part of our client relationships. This job becomes very personal after many, many years and I look forward to many more relationships for many years.

      Jeff’s primary focus for The Meritage Group of Wells Fargo Advisors is to provide comprehensive investment planning. Since 2000 he has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs.  He specializes in retirement planning, estate planning strategies, education, and asset allocation.   If a working relationship is developed, he can work with you to help achieve your financial goals. 

      Jeff began his career as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in Dallas, Texas where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge.  He moved back to his home state of Oklahoma in 2002 when he was offered a position with the Oklahoma City Morgan Stanley office. In 2005, Jeff joined the Smith Barney office in downtown Oklahoma City where he felt he could better service his clients.  Jeff earned the CFP® certification in 2008 by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements.  In 2011, after the merger of Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, Jeff transitioned his business to Wells Fargo Advisors where he continues to deliver personalized investment planning.  Previous to his financial services career, Jeff had the honor to serve his nation as a member of the United States Air Force.  While serving his country, he earned his bachelor degree at Park University in Parkville, Missouri. 

      Jeff and his wife April keep busy in their free time with five children and enjoy many outdoor activities.

        JoAnn has been working in the financial industry since 1994 and joined Wells Fargo Advisors in March of 2001. Her career has been dedicated to giving excellent quality service to clients. The administrative duties that are in her charge include but are not limited to: Contacting clients for current information, setting appointments and managing the team calendar and contact management tools. Jo Ann is responsible for answering client questions and providing assistance to clients to understand their account statement and assist them with Online Access to their accounts. When action is requested by clients she does her best to complete their requests in a timely manner.
           

         JoAnn and her husband have been married for 36 years and have 2 dogs. Disaster Relief, animal care and considerations for the elderly are important to her and she tries to help in these areas of the community as much as possible.  JoAnn enjoys reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

          Carey spends her day in service to others. She strives to ensure that all clients’ administrative and operational needs are handled accurately and efficiently.  She is the first voice clients will hear when calling into the office and she takes tremendous pride in delivering stellar client service. As a Senior Client Associate, Carey is responsible for handling the day-to-day administration of accounts, including the opening of new accounts, updating existing account information, fund transfers and answering any questions the clients may have.

          Carey brings more than a decade of experience to the Meritage Group. She has been in the financial industry since 2007. She graduated from East Central University in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Marketing.

          In her spare time you can find Carey spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite activities to do is spending time at the lake whenever weather permits.
