Tom has spent over 25 years designing and implementing comprehensive wealth management strategies tailored to fit his clients’ specific individual needs. Tom’s experience during major events in both the stock and bond markets enables him to deliver balanced investment planning services to individuals, families, non-profit organizations, and for-profit business owners. Staying current on updates to laws and regulations available to the client is paramount to his growing practice. He strives to develop long-term relationships built on trust and is committed to helping clients meet their unique investment goals.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, (formerly Wachovia Securities) in 2004, Tom was a Financial Consultant with Smith Barney for 6 years. His professional experience also includes serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Boeing’s Corporate headquarters in Seattle, Resident Audit Manager for Puget Sound Bancorp in Tacoma, and Staff Accountant for the CPA firm Moss Adams in Bremerton. He earned his BBA from Seattle University and holds all applicable securities registrations and insurance licenses, as well as a Certified Public Accounting Certificate and current license (non-practicing).
Tom’s community involvement includes the following: team sponsor and captain of a large team of dedicated professionals participating in The Big Climb, the largest fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Washington/Alaska; member of Northwest Business Club; a financial sponsor for the Arts, including Opera Popolare in Bellingham, and the Lynden Festival of Music. Tom is also a member of the Semiahmoo Breakfast Club. His prior commitments included: Chairman of the Board of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA); Mentor with Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics; Past President of the local WSCPA Chapter; Funding Review Committee for United Way of Whatcom County; past-Director/Treasurer of Brigid Collins and past-Director of Whatcom Center for Early Learning in Bellingham.
Tom and his wife, Wendy reside in Semiahmoo, WA. They have two adult sons one who lives in Seattle and one who lives in Bellingham. Tom and Wendy dote on their, as yet, only grandchild with another on the way! Tom enjoys attending new and classic car shows, playing golf and hiking with family and friends.

Ryan Donaghy
Financial Advisor
Ryan Donaghy joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2022. He has spent the past 19 years working as a residential painting contractor and business Owner. He was the president and owner of Nickerson Street Painting, LLC out of the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle, WA. Before moving to Seattle Ryan grew up in Bellingham. He graduated from Sehome High School and also achieved a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Western Washington University. He is excited to be back in Bellingham and to be working with his father to help give excellent service to clients as a Financial Advisor.
Ryan has been a long-time donor to Environment Washington and local High School Sports Teams. He also participated and gathered sponsorships for several years as a participant in the Big Climb, the largest fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Washington
Ryan has a wife named SarahBeth who is an independent corporate event planner and a daughter named Meggan who is beginning her journey into elementary school. In Ryan’s free time, he plays in golf leagues around town and will play pickleball with anyone who is willing to play. He is also an avid sports fan. He has been a season ticket holder to the Seahawks for the past 20 years and to the first two seasons of Kraken Hockey.

Ashley Dodge
Client Associate
In early April of 2022 Ashley Dodge had joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Client Associate. Originally from California, she made the years-long planned move to Washington, after completing her educational goals. It was in 2019 with three Associates in Arts, one in Art History, one in Studio Art, and another in Illustration from Foothill Community College, and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Illustration from California State University Long Beach, when Ashley settled in Bow.
In her free time, Ashley uses her Illustrative talents to complete artworks for others in her very small Illustration business, as well as for herself. She also enjoys working with her hands, with project like spinning her own yarn and knitting, as well as tinkering with her PC she built in 2020.
Ashley takes pride in assisting Tom and Ryan with facilitating clients financial goals and building lasting relationships. She looks forwards to pursuing future opportunities within her role as a Client Associate and furthering her education in her endeavors for excellent service.
