FOCUS

As Managing Director of the Yalanis Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, Chris works closely with clients who want to improve their Net Worth. He develops an objective, strategic financial overview and then designs and builds an action plan, while seeking to carefully manage risk. His focus is a personalized strategy of asset allocation and money manager selection, and portfolio reviews through client meetings.

APPROACH

Chris’ business philosophy is direct and straightforward, transparent, and educational.

He prides himself on trust, accountability, open communication and a disciplined approach to investing. He works closely with clients who are interested in the benefits of a structured investment program and develops a communicative working relationship with clients who are serious about their goals.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Chris retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Air Force Reserve (2012). He taught Military and Medical Ethics, and Critical Thinking/Logic at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He continues to teach ‘Investments’ with the Circle of Scholars program at Salve Regina University.

Chris is a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner having also earned a MBA (1997), a MA (Philosophy, 1998), and a BA (Philosophy, 1991).

Chris lives in Newport, Rhode Island with his wife Laura, a Shareholder at KLR Accounting and Tax Advisory firm, and three children: Nicholas and daughters Anna and Katie. He enjoys flying airplanes, golf and squash. Chris is an active volunteer at Channing Memorial Church and Newport Hospital. Locally, his mother Betsy Leerssen is a realtor. His brother Greg owns his own architectural firm.

Greg’s professional career has been dedicated to building lifelong relationships, providing premium service to his customers and helping them achieve their goals. As a financial advisor, he is dedicated to advising clients with all aspects of their wealth management needs in order to achieve the lifestyle they aspire to.

Alongside his teammate Christopher P. Yalanis, MBA, CFP®, Managing Director – Investments, Branch Manager, Greg works diligently to help clients make informed decisions based on sound advice.

Greg prides himself on transparent communication, trust and accountability in implementation and finally, a disciplined and interactive relationship with clients to evaluate their investment plans.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Before transitioning careers, Greg worked as a sales consultant in the medical device industry for 13 years. As a four-year student-athlete at Villanova University, Greg was honored as an All-Big East Academic team member and captain of the Men’s Baseball team.

Greg resides in Milton, MA with his wife Kelly, a second grade teacher and his three children, Annaleigh, Everett and Adelyn. He makes the most of the variety of outdoor adventures that New England has to offer, surfing, skiing and hiking with family. He often volunteers for local organizations like the Friends of Newport Skatepark, Clean Ocean Access, Save the Bay and the Newport Gulls. Inspired by his younger brother’s attitude and perseverance, Greg has dedicated his time to raise skin cancer awareness for IMPACT Melanoma and ran the Boston Marathon as a team member on their behalf.

As a Senior Registered Client Associate Darcy is dedicated to building personal and professional relationships with clients, while supporting the needs of her financial advisors. Responsible for administrative oversight and handling of client inquiries, Darcy provides a high level of personalized service. Clients appreciate her attention to detail, as well as her ability to handle client issues with empathy and efficiency.

EXPERIENCE

Darcy graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a concentration in marketing.

Darcy worked in the advertising and media industries for 4 years and focused her expertise in the areas of marketing and sales. She then joined UBS Investment Bank working with their Hedge Fund office in Boston as their office manager and eventually transferred to UBS Financial Services in Providence as a Client Service Associate. She worked there for 7 years and she earned both her Series 7 & 66 Registrations. Darcy joined Wells Fargo Advisors in May of 2014 as a Senior Registered Client Associate. In 2016 Darcy was recognized as Wells Fargo Advisors Team Member of the Year, representing the top 1% of home office, branch & field support. The Team Member of the Year award is given to team members for their service and commitment to the vision, values & goals of the firm.

BACKGROUND

Darcy lives in Portsmouth, Rhode Island with her husband Brad, a local Newport Detective, their son Braden and daughter Brooklyn. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and watching her children play multiple sports. Darcy volunteers her time in her community and is actively involved in the Relay For Life through the American Cancer Society, raising over $100,000.
