      Sherry DeGenaro is a Managing Partner with Harbour Bridge Wealth Management Advisors.

      Sherry serves the needs of individuals, families, business executives and special needs trusts*. Her strategy is to help preserve and grow the wealth of her clients. At the heart of her philosophy is a passion to build enduring relationships by understanding her clients’ financial needs, educating them and providing excellent client service.

      Sherry began her career in the financial services business in 1983 with Merrill Lynch. Throughout her career, she also worked at Prudential Securities, as well as Morgan Stanley until she transitioned her business, DeGenaro Miller & Associates to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in 2009.

      She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Mansfield University and currently resides in Chatham, NJ.

      Timothy J. Erday is the Managing Principal and a Senior Financial Advisor at Harbour Bridge Wealth Management Advisors. He is responsible for designing and reviewing investment portfolios for the practice's clients and integrating these portfolios within the long-term plans of client’s overall financial goals.

      Tim is a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager and has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(SM) , CRPC® designation through the College of Financial Planning.

      In addition to Harbour Bridge Wealth Management Advisors being associated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC, Tim also has served as a member of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC’s Licensee Advisory Board as well as being a charter member of the the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC Advisory Group. Prior to founding the original entity, Erday & Company - Wealth Management Advisors in 2004 (later to become Harbour Bridge Wealth Management Advisors), he was a Vice President of Investments and a Certified Investment Management Consultant with UBS Wealth Management in New York, NY.

      Tim is a graduate of Ithaca College, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in finance and previously served on the Investment Advisory Board of the Real Time Fund of the Ithaca College School of Business. Most recently, Tim graduated from the PLD program at Harvard Business School as well as having completed his Financial Planning Certification through Farleigh Dickenson University in 2006.

      In addition to serving clients,Tim serves as a Board Member and Trustee of the Summit Education Foundation.   He has previously served as a board member and trustee of the Overlook Foundation, The Dreyfuss Civics Initiative as well as having served on the alumni board of the Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, NJ. He also served on the executive committee of the Wealth Advisory Institute, a Washington, D.C. based non-profit organization dedicated to the continuous improvement of the professional standards in the financial services industry.

      Tim has been engaged as a speaker and educator at both private and public companies in the area of investment planning, employee benefits and retirement planning. Tim currently holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 9 & 10 professional registrations as well as Life, Health & Accident Insurance registrations. Tim, his wife Jennifer and their four children live in Summit, NJ.

      My father passed away when I was 12 years old. My mother worked part-time before his death but had to secure full-time employment after his death. I watched her struggle to care for me and my brother after losing my father’s income. In that moment, I decided to use my love of math to help her with budgeting and discovering entrepreneurial ways of bringing in extra money. I then learned to sew from my mother, but I really improved my skills by taking home economics classes. My teacher was a tailor and taught me more advanced sewing techniques. At age 14, I started a dressmaking/tailoring business, and my brother started a landscaping service to earn money to help support the household. I maintained my dressmaking business while earning my undergraduate in Business Administration/Fashion Merchandising at Florida State University. During my junior year in college, I read an article about colleges encouraging women to go to graduate business school.

      After graduating from FSU, I moved to Washington, D.C. to live with an older brother and attend graduate school. I started out paying my way, but I was fortunate enough to get a job with a corporation that offered tuition-reimbursement. The D.C. office was the lobbying arm of this corporation and my job was to gather information for my immediate boss and senior management to make presentations to legislators. It was then that I realized I had a knack for getting people to share important, relevant information with me. I continued to attend graduate school at night and on the weekends, and I was able to earn an MBA within the time period I had set for myself.

      I moved to New York the following year seeking employment in the financial services industry. I wanted to be a financial advisor (also known as a stockbroker, in those days). My first job was doing strategic and financial forecasting for a bank, and even though this job was fulfilling to a point, there was something missing. I longed for the interpersonal interaction that allowed me the opportunity to help people solve financial challenges.

      A friend informed me that the firm where she was employed was looking for financial advisors and she thought I should come for an interview. So I interviewed, and I was hired. Upon getting registered and doing the dreaded “cold calling,” I soon realized there was a better way of getting clients. I didn’t want to just push a product – I wanted to help people solve financial challenges. I contacted all the corporations in my area and offered to put on seminars about the importance of participating in their company’s 401(k) plan. One company took me up on the offer, and I built my business doing seminars on retirement planning.

          Kathleen is a Client Service Associate whose role is to provide operational and transactional support to enable a smooth onboarding experience for clients and ongoing relationship support to ensure client needs are met.

          Kathleen originally worked with Prudential Securities, which was later acquired by Wachovia Securities and then became Wells Fargo Advisors. Kathleen joined Harbour Bridge Wealth Management Advisors in 2019. She is a lifelong NY Sports fan, lives in Garwood with her husband and is actively involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives.

              Makyla Werner serves as an Operations Manager & Client Service Associate, whose role is to oversee the client experience within the practice, ensure complex needs are managed efficiently and premier service is provided to families who rely on us to help simplify their lives.

              Makyla is a graduate of Arizona State University, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Communications and Media.  Makyla has been involved in the financial services business for 15 years during which time she has worked within client service, marketing, recruiting as well as serving as a Branch Manager for Bank of America in addition to overseeing a multi-branch acquisition within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. 

              While Makyla is an Arizona native, she most recently moved from Walnut Creek, California to New Jersey with her husband and two young children. Being the daughter of an educator, Makyla prides herself on helping others as well as helping in the community.   When she is not serving as the health and wellness director of our practice and balancing the competing demands of being a professional, a wife and fierce protector of her son and daughter, she also is actively involved in her children’s sports, as well as being a strong advocate for animal adoption.    Most recently she received an award for her support of “Home for Good Dogs”.  On weekends she can be found rooting for the Sun Devils as well as enjoying some quiet time with her cat.
