Sean leads the Genesis Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in developing highly customized asset allocation strategies designed to preserve and grow wealth for select high-net-worth families, as well as small- to medium-sized institutions. He maintains very strong skills in investment management consulting and is fluent in sophisticated techniques surrounding liquidity event planning, business sales, and hedging and monetization strategies.

Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Sean headed up a PWM (Private Wealth Management) team with Morgan Stanley, focused on ultra-high-net-worth clientele. Prior to his career at Morgan Stanley, he was a Managing Director for Oppenheimer and Co. He has also served as the Director of Corporate & Executive Services at Everen Securities. During his career, Sean has served in numerous leadership roles, including various advisory boards and councils within the financial services industry, such as the Chairmanship role of the National Advisory Council for Oppenheimer & Co.

Sean earned his BBA at the University of Texas, concentrating in Finance and Accounting, though he does not offer accounting services. He also attended the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, where he earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst, and he is an active member of the Investments & Wealth Institute.

As for his philanthropic endeavors, Sean formerly served as Chairman of the Board for Pathway’s Lifestyle Management, a nonprofit focused on empowering individuals and families to enhance and grow their quality of life. Developed by Dr. Phil in the 1980s, the program has reached tens of thousands of families from around the country.

He enjoys travel, health and fitness activities, winter skiing, and fly fishing. Sean also enjoys working with kids as a football coach for his two sons, and he coaches both fall and spring teams in Frisco, TX.
