Investment Philosophy

We believe investment decisions are derived from a clear and concise investment plan. Once the plan is created, we take a global asset allocation approach to meet the specific set of outcomes. These outcomes range from retirement income, financial independence, philanthropy, multigenerational legacy planning and other more distinct topics.

We believe that any set of goals can be accomplished using a bucketing strategy. This incorporates having a specific percentage of a client’s assets allocated in different investment objectives such as conservative income, moderate growth and income and aggressive growth.

When constructing the asset allocations, we look to the Wells Fargo Investment Institute for initial guidance on the appropriate percentage in each asset class for a given risk tolerance. From there we take our external studies of profitable long term themes and apply them as an overlay to our discretionary models. The investment choices are unique to our team and derived from the open-architecture platform that provides us access to many of the industry’s top investment managers.
