Marti Cacciola brings more than 38 years of financial experience to the Inner Harbor Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.  Marti began her career at E.F. Hutton in 1987.  In 1990, she moved to Prudential Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors.  Her exceptional organizational skills and ability to foster trust with her clients make her a valued member of the team.
 

Marti has recently assumed greater responsibility within the group, bringing her even closer to the clients she serves.  Her primary responsibility is to maintain a professional and organized environment, ensuring clients receive the guidance and advice they need to meet their financial goals.

 
Marti lives in Baldwinsville, NY with her husband, Scott.  A dedicated fitness enthusiast, Marti enjoys competing in national events and has recently achieved first place in 3 competitions.  Her daughter, Elizabeth, is a Spanish teacher in Rochester, NY with a degree from SUNY Geneseo, where she continued her passion for dance.  Elizabeth received her master’s degree at Nazareth College in English as a Second Language, ESL.  Her son, Nicholas, earned his business degree from St. John Fisher College, where he played football, and now works at ADP in Rochester, NY.

 

As a Financial Advisor at Inner Harbor Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors, I help clients bring order and confidence to their financial lives. My process starts with listening—really understanding what’s important to you—so we can build a plan that reflects your goals and values. That plan becomes the foundation for tailored investment strategies, with dividend growth investing at the heart of what we do. Transparency and fairness guide everything I recommend, and I focus on managing costs and controlling risk through smart asset allocation.

I’ve been in the wealth management field for over a decade, but it all started with a summer internship at Morgan Stanley. I was lucky enough to earn one of just 10 full-time Wealth Management Analyst positions nationwide, which was both a thrill and a crash course in the industry. From there, I joined Morgan Stanley’s Financial Advisor training program, eventually teaming with a long-established group. In 2016, I took the leap to Wells Fargo Advisors as a solo advisor, and in 2020, I joined the amazing team that became Inner Harbor Wealth Management. One of my proudest moments was when Forbes named us a Best in State Wealth Management Team in 2024.

I’m a Michigan State Spartan through and through, with degrees in International Relations and Economics (go Green!). I also earned an MBA from Le Moyne College here in Syracuse and am a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®)—something that’s really important to me as it reflects my commitment to doing what’s best for my clients.

Outside of work, life is full—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My wife Katie and I are raising two (soon to be three) wonderful kids, and we love spending time outdoors, especially in the Adirondacks or on family trips to Acadia National Park. We also try to get back to Michigan to visit family whenever we can. I’m a big fan of non-fiction books, documentaries, and podcasts—anything that feeds my curiosity. And when I’m not on the golf course or perfecting my BBQ recipes, you’ll find me cheering on the Spartans during football and basketball season.

Community involvement is also important to me. I’m a proud graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, and my family and I support local causes like Griffin’s Guardians. I’ve also enjoyed mentoring DECA students at the high school level—it’s inspiring to see the next generation embrace big ideas.

At the end of the day, I love what I do because it’s about helping people make the most of what they’ve worked so hard for. Money is just a tool, but when you use it the right way, it can help you live the life you want.
